Pros: Very clean and tidy. Host was helpful. Great location.

Cons: No privacy on the second bed. Very small so I wouldn’t recommend for more than two people. Checkin was a bit difficult as it was challenging to find the right building but once we located it was easy from there.

We really enjoyed the traditional Japanese living experience.

Pros: Location was amazing. Very close to Shinjuku station and even closer to subway stations. The walk along the lane way to Shinjuku was lovely. Golden Gai is a stone’s throw. Lots of good restaurants and conbinis very nearby. It was a great experience of traditional Tokyo living. Clean and everything needed provided.

Cons: Could not get the wifi working at all. Even after contacting the host. Tried all passwords we could find with both the modem and pocket wifi. We were lucky enough to be able to piggy back free wifi from a nearby hotel but it was slow because it wasn’t on site. Had to go to McDonald’s to use their wifi in order to activate our eSims and download email. Wasn’t able to work the tv but didn’t impact us too much. Not enough kitchen space to cook much of a meal.
