Liberty Shinjuku House

Pros: Easy to check in, paid parking is just right in front of it. 8 mins walk to station and one or two stop to shinjuku. Groceries shop, convenience shop in walking distance.

Pros: Great location and a clean apartment. For low-cost travel, even three people can sleep here comfortably (one on a floor mattress). There’s also a small kitchen you can use for cooking and a washing machine on the balcony. Great place — we recommend it!

Great location

Pros: Very good location, short walk to the local train station. Good facilities, easy check-in and check-out. Had a great time!

Cons: I wish I stayed longer!

Amazing value for money.

Pros: Very easy check in and out process. The apartment was great value for money considering it is in Shinjuku and the space you get compared to other hotels nearby. Well equipped apartment.

Cons: If I was being picky, I would say the host could've been more informative about the local area and maybe have an information pack in the apartment. This was our first stay in Japan, so it would've been really helpful - also having info on luggage services would've helped. The location is a little bit far out, but still amazing value.

Pros: Typical Japanese style apartment, not so spacious, but with almost everything you need. Plus, there's a small balcony in case you did laundry and need to hang out your cloth. Location was good, not too hard to find, in a very local and quiet neighborhood.

Cons: If there is a table and chair, it will be more comfortable to eat. This is the biggest challenge we met during our stay. And a knife in the kitchen will be better as well, since there is everything needed to make a meal, just missing the knife.

Pros: The room was good, it had everything you need for a short stay. There‘s a 7/11 and a lawson nearby as well as other food places. It‘s also nearby a metro station.

Cons: After walking 20k steps a day through tokyo, the walk home felt like it was never ending although it‘s close-ish to the metro station.

A gem in Tokyo despite some downsides

Pros: It’s really spacious and close to two subway stations, supermarkets, restaurants and convenience stores. Only two stops to Shinjuku, yet it is located in a quiet area. The host allowed us to have an early check-in and provided cooking utensils, induction cooker, cutlery, a washing machine, dishwashing liquid, detergents, paper towels, and linens. Communication was fast and smooth.

Cons: There was no handwashing liquid and there should be a shower curtain. Insulation was not very good so we could hear things from upstairs and the stairs were a bit narrow, making it difficult to move heavy suitcases.

Great location, comfy with everything you need.

Pros: It could have been tidier but that is the only thing. It had everything we need, and the location on a cute street with a few restaurants and stores as well as a shirt walk to trains in different directions.

Pros: We had a nice stay but there are missing the chairs or small table to eat from.

Pros: Good location, there are many transport options and restaurants in the area.

Cons: My only concern was there was no table/chair that can be used for eating, working etc.
