Kita-Ueno Inn - Near UENO

Excellent stay

Pros: The location was excellent, so quiet and easy access to the Ueno and Inaricho stations. Facilities were amazin, we enjoyed being able to spread out and having the option to eat at the house. She shower was wonderful and really handy having the washer/dryer.

Cons: We loved everything. But the steep staircases might be difficult for some people

Great place to stay, good location and would recommend it.

Pros: The house was clean, modern and comfortable. The location was great for access to the metro to travel around the city and in a quiet neighborhood.

Cons: The stairs were steep but I understand this is the case in a lot of Japanese houses. The beds were a bit hard for us but otherwise we liked the house.

Perfect stay for a family, clean, spacious, fully equipped, quiet.

Pros: Very spacious, located in a quiet neighborhood, easy access to grocery stores. Plenty of room, clean, properly furnished and everything provided (towels, shampoo,…). The explanation how to get there, how to access the property and how to use the various utilities (AC, washing machine, …) were very easy to follow.

Cons: All good, not a huge selection of restaurants in the area and metro is a 10-15 min walk, but there are bus lines close by.

Pros: Well equipped, clean property in a quiet location, but really close to Ueno.

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Good value, lovely home. We overall liked it.

Pros: It was a lovely property. The kids were really excited to explore 4 floors. The added roof top was a nice option. Although we did not really use it! Still excellent to have. It was about a 10-15-minute walk from Ueno Station. The park is not far. The place was very clean. For what we paid, it was a good price. It is newly renovated, so the look and feel is nice. The building looks amazing from the outside. We like that they provided a nice fan. This helps to blow our item dry when it rained! Overall, I gave this a top score.

Cons: We stayed in 3 properties. All 3 places offer high standards. However, this would come in 3rd place. For example, other places provided a more personal touch such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, slippers, cooking oil and salt, umbrellas to use when it rains, high chairs, even a pram and a bicycle to use! The beds did not have the best comfort, but they were fine. Be aware the internet is not fast, but it is fine for accessing the net. We had to do our own bedsheets. That is the first. When it rained, there was a drip of water hitting one of the room's windows and my son could not sleep well due to constant ticking noise! Overall, it was great and really just nit picking. The value is outstanding for what you are getting.

Pros: The location was great. The place was very new and clean with everything you need.

Cons: The beds were very firm.

Spacious, close to convience store and train stations.

Pros: Property has a lot of space and our family for 4 was comfortable! Traveled with a toddler and young child and the facilities were great.

Pros: Fin leilighet i rolig strøk. Supermarked 5 min unna. Ca 10 min gange fra Ueno stasjon. Koselig med takterrassen, men savnet stoler der. Bra å kunne vaske tøy. Vi koste oss i leiligheten.

Cons: Trange og bratte trapper. Smal dobbeltseng og tynn madrass på soverommet nede.

I will book this accommodation again.

Pros: Clean and smell so fresh. It is close to 3 Japanese restaurant and 2 convenience store.

Cons: It is a 10 minute walk to Ueno Station.

Overall good value and great location, could be great all around with some minor upgrades.

Cons: The beds were uncomfortable, the mattresses in the traditional bedrooms felt more like a box spring. Would recommend the owner add a pad for cushioning or upgrade.
