Rakuten STAY Tokyo Asakusa Single Room

A little overpriced but still great value!

Pros: The location is EXCELLENT, convenient to both Asakusa Station and Honjo-Azumabashi Station as well as two 7-11's and two Lawsons' within a two minute walk. It is also incredibly safe not to mention very picturesque as well! The bathtub is VERY nice, deeper than even most Western bathtubs despite Japanese people being smaller than us on average. The shower pressure is also excellent. The staff are very friendly. The bed is actually large, a nice queen size. You use a code instead of a key so you don't need to worry about losing your hotel key or digging through your bag to retrieve it. The Rakuten Panda theme is also adorable!

Cons: There is no bedside lamp or lighting, only the main lights. The staff were only available via video chat. Even though I was there for seven consecutive nights there was no housekeeping meaning that I unfortunately had a large pile of rubbish bags under the desk by the time I checked out. The one pillow they provide was very flat. Many SNS posts say that Japanese hotels provide everything you need and not to bring any toiletries from your home country but all that was provided was a toothbrush, a tiny toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner, and body wash - so you will still need to either bring or buy a larger toothpaste, deodorant, and skincare.

Great location for the price, but check in process could be smoother!

Pros: I loved how once you checked in, getting in and out of the property and your room was a breeze. I also liked how close to the subway this location was and how big and comfortable the bed and bathroom were!

Cons: Checking in took a few tries because the internet connection of the front counter wasn’t great. I hope they upgrade their internet service for it since that’s the only part I didn’t enjoy about the stay.

Pros: La privacidad, el vecindario. Cercanos a metro y conexión directa con aeropuerto. Café de cortesía.

Cons: Muy justo de espacio incluso para 1 sola persona si es que llevas equipaje grande.

Tokyo, già mi manchi!

Pros: Ho soggiornato solo una notte in questa struttura ma mi sono trovato molto bene. Check in rapido e camera molto pulita e comoda. Il letto è comodissimo. L'hotel è a cinque minuti di cammino dalla Tokyo Sky Tree ed a dieci minuti dalla fermata della metro. Una posizione ideale per esplorare questa zona della città.

Pros: ホテルに入る数字、入室の数字を控えておけば、鍵を持つ必要がなく、便利。 たまたまでしょうか、「ただいま東京プラスクーポン」をいただけ、土産を買えました。

Cons: ホテルに入る数字を事前に教えてもらえなかったことです。しかし、電話で聞けましたので、大きな問題ではないです。９日早朝、新幹線で東京に出発しなければならず、パソコンを見る余裕がなかった。
