Hotel Moana Otsuka (Adult Only)

A pleasant and convenient stay with great value for money.

Pros: The location is perfect for a first-time visitor to Tokyo. It’s conveniently close to a Yamanote Line station, making it easy to travel efficiently around the city. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Also, Ōtsuka is known for its more relaxed atmosphere compared to other areas along the Yamanote Line, which makes it a great place to stay. The hotel itself was good, cleaning was good. The receptionist who helped us during check-in was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression and added to the overall positive experience.

Cons: The beds were a bit hard and on the smaller side, and the rooms felt somewhat outdated. However, for the price, it’s hard to complain, overall, it’s a very good value for money.

Value for money choice!

Pros: Perfect location near train station (jr line), many choices for places to eat nearby, 7-11 and family mart nearby. Quite,clean and spacious room. Stayed there for a week as a first time traveler in japan.

Pros: It was close to to metro station, the room has almost all the necessarg thing including teethbrush and ect.

Cons: The only negative point is for smell of smoke.

The best hotel I have stayed during my Japan trip

Pros: This is my second stay at hotel Moana and i am so glad of this decision. The hotel is literally just behind the Otsuka station. Hotel room is spacious with the comfiest bed ever. We had such a nice rest after a long travel. At night, we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. There were plenty of food, snack, drinks, shops around. We really did not have to take the train to anywhere to enjoy good food and good night. I will definitely stay at hotel Moana again whenever i come to Tokyo.

The best choice for both comfort accommodation and convenient location!!

Pros: Hotel Moana by far the best place I have stayed during my Japan trip. The location is only 2 mins from the Otsuka train station on the Yamanote line. It resided on a quiet street corner. Pros: It's a Love Hotel so perhaps not for everyone, but for me it was great. Clean with nice personnel and multiple amenities, like food delivery (we didn't order anything), soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair band, comb etc. Nearby eateries, coffee shops and Otsuka station getting you straight to most attractive neighbourhoods. Would be happy to stay there again!

Cons: - Slight smell of cigarettes, as many rooms are for smokers and ventilation can't hide it all. - Narrow area around bed, which is common in Japan, we had bagpacks so it was fine but with big suitcases would be a problem to find a good spot on the floor to open them.
