Pros: I really appreciate the hotel owner for helping me with two extra tubes of toothpaste!

Pros: It was comfy and had all the things necessary for sightseeing trip kind of room.

Cons: No actual space for towel that wouldn’t result in getting it wet during showering

Pros: We stayed for 4 nights. It was very clean, easy self-check-in, 5 minutes walk from Kita-Ikebukuro, comfy futons, a fridge, good room size.. Would recommend and come again!

It was functional and everything was straight forward

Pros: I like the beds, they were comfortable and tv had many options. Shower was easy to use

Cons: There were insects inside, and it had a weird toilet odor smell or from the sink when we got back in the evening.

First time in Tokyo so very convenient place to stay as under 20

Nice little gem

Pros: The room was nice and big and had a closet, fridge and nice shower with soap and shampoo as well as a kettle. Definitely on the bigger side of Japanese hotels I've stayed at which is amazing. The host was so easy to message and get in touch with for any issues which I didn't have any of. Would happily stay again. Felt like a home away from home.

Cons: The trains are right next to the building and can be heard easily. The host provides earplugs if it's too bad for you but I got used to it after a while. For me location was further from main Ikebukuro that I'm used to (I usually stay near main JR Station) but still only a station or a 15minute walk away.

Pros: No complaints -any queries I had where promptly responded to by host via email always in a patient and polite manner.

Cons: Like a lot of this type of accommodation in Tokyo the late check in of 4pm and check out at 10 is a bain. Particularly when there's no arrangement luggage storage pre check in and post checkout.

Pros: Bed was nice, the train sound is actually not that loud.

Cons: Walking distance from train station to hotel is around 15mins, in my own opinion I feel is quite far. But overall is okay~

Pros: Nice and quiet area, even though it was close to the train tracks. Comfortable futons.

Pros: The pillow, the washing machine, the amenities, the check-in and check out, the tatami, the decoration and that the room was exactly the same as in the pictures. Very good indoor lighting and air conditioning. We didn't bother about the train as it wasn't very noisy and it was good to have the ear plugs.

Cons: For long term staying they should include a mid staying room cleaning or offer a cleaning service. We didn't like it at all the fact there was no light on the outdoors corridor and every night we've had to illuminate ourselves with our mobiles phones. Something is really wrong if a guest has to light up with its own phone so they can open their door. And there was lights but not working.
