Overall, the stay was comfortable and convenient thanks to the excellent location.

Pros: I loved the location — it’s only minutes away from the subway station, main attractions, restaurants, and supermarkets, making it extremely convenient. The accommodation provides all the cooking appliances and utensils, which was a big plus. I also loved that each level has its own bathroom. Overall, it was quite spacious for Tokyo living standards and very comfortable.

Cons: The internal stairs are quite tight and steep, which may be difficult for elderly guests and may not be very safe for toddlers, though younger people should have no issues. The external stairs can also be a bit challenging when carrying larger or heavier luggage. Additionally, the washing machine is located in the living room and could benefit from a drum clean, as the outer rim appeared a bit dirty.

Pros: Main living floor was spacious, it was to be able to close the wall to seperate the rooms at night. The hosts provided a cot for our 18 month old which is rare in Japan. Great air conditioning. Hosts were easily contactable and easy to communicate with.

Cons: Just be aware the stairs are steep to the terrace (where the shower and bathroom, and second bed, is located) and steep stairs to the entrance when considering luggage and strollers/prams.

Great value next to Asakusa

Pros: Great location: you are about 5-10 minutes walk from Senso-ji, but far away from the noise and busyness next to it. The house is well kept and nicely decorated, which makes you feel very homely (as opposed to a boring sterile hotel room). The rooftop was great, and we enjoyed sitting there after dinner.

Cons: Some instructions on where things were would have been helpful... It took us a bit to find the cutlery!

Enjoyable stay at the heart of Asakusa!

Pros: Main advantage is its Location. Near to Metro station (5 min walk), close to shopping area, variety of Halal options within 5-10 min walk. The facility is complete. The host is super! Ayaka came to the unit herself when we reported a small issue with the toilet. Thanks so much, Ayaka-san!

Cons: You need to use stiff staircases to first and third floor.

A perfect stay

Pros: Everything was perfect. Big Spaces for being in Tokyo, nice details, assistance during the stay, perfect location close to Asakusa but far for traffic. I would love to come back !!

good place and kind staff

Pros: i liked how clean and cozy the place was, housekeeper was also very friendly and kind to speak with, also got free fruits from ayaka-san! which was a very nice gesture that i didnt expect at all, also a very convienient location, just a 5mins walk to the tawaramachi station as well

Cozy and affordable place next to everything

Pros: Quaint stay for a group of 4 adults for 10 nights. After rearranging the living room a bit, we were able to place down 2 additional futons for each person to have their own personal space for sleep but can be tight at times especially if everyone has their own luggage. Close to the Tokyo Metro Tawaramachi station which makes it convenient (especially if you are redeeming the 24/48/72-hour Tokyo Subway ticket) and quiet since it was away from the main roads. Washing machine and dryer combo worked wonderfully for us. Unfortunately did not use the kitchen so I am not able to comment on it, but the fridge and microwave were great to use during late nights and when we were in a rush. Plenty of towels for use and tissue boxes were abundant. Edit: We definitely used the upstairs space. We just wanted one bed each, aha. There is a bed upstairs, a bed directly next to the kitchen area, and we put down two futons in the general living space.

Cons: The stairs are very steep, outside and inside, so please be mindful. Couldn't use the only bathtub downstairs but that was okay. And the main washroom right next to the kitchen isn't really private, so use it if you're super comfortable with the company you're with.

Great stay, EXCELLENT service!

Pros: Great location. Plenty of room for our family. “Sonny” was fantastic and very responsive to all our communications and requests.

Cons: A little non-standard layout but we put some futons down and it worked great. Would be more challenging if you intended to cook and eat in the home.
