A hidden gem!

Pros: The place is incredibly comfortable and equipped with everything you need to enjoy a fully independent stay, including a kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, and even phone chargers. While it might feel small by Western standards, trust me—compared to other places I've stayed in Tokyo, it's surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Plus, the beds were exceptionally cozy!

Cons: If I had to point out a minor drawback, it would be that the bathroom was a bit chilly at first. But ultimately, I would definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic stay and definitely recommend!

Pros: There were amenities available and the host was very accomodating to our request of leaving our luggage in early. Really appreciated it. Host was very fast to reply on the booking app and I would come back again to stay

Cons: It’s a 10 min walk from Shin Koiwa station, originally we were unsure of where it was but thankfully there’s a board outside pointing to the place.

Pros: Offered us early check in. The owner Miku has been a great help from the start. I have asked her so many questions regarding Tokyo and what to do etc and she has been a great help from the start. Very Helpful.

Pros: We were allowed to bring our two cats with us they were very accommodating. Location is very near a JR station, The area near the station is quite lively but the area of the apartment is very quiet. We had a very good stay, I would recommend ❤️

Pros: It was absolutely fantastic. Hotel personal was on contact from first day of booking and always reply sooo quickly. I recommend to stay at this place, if you have a cat 1000%.

Pros: 屋主親切！可以提前入住！結束後亦可寄放行李，超級難得！ 住宿房間內佈置溫馨！ 也有很多小驚喜！ 也有附近景點說明，非常貼心！

Well equipped apartment stay in Shin-Koiwa

Pros: Great Japanese apartment with cute decorations inside. The property provides good set of amenities and kitchen is well equipped with cutleries etc. The apartment might feel a bit small by Western standards but for Japanese standards it is completely fine and we had no problems with 2 people in the apartment. Communication from the host was excellent and initial instructions were perfect. The location is great because you can easily catch a train to Akihabara from the Shin-Koiwa station and while the distance to the apartment might seem big from the station the trip is really easy to walk even with luggage.

Cons: The toilet seat could be one that has heating but thats just something I've gotten spoiled on :D
