Overall, I liked my stay in the apartment.
Pros: The bathroom was great. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. It's conveniently located near Ikebukuro Station.
Cons: I didn't know there were no windows, unfortunately. It was the only thing that bothered me a little.

Big and well located apartment in Tokyo
Pros: the apartment is super cozy, space and perfect for 2 people. It is well connected to the most important places in Tokyo thanks to Ikebukuro station. It is also well positioned if you want to have one-day trip out from Tokyo (Kamakura, Fujisan, etc).
Cons: It might be useful to equip with a ward robe for clothes

Fun, walkable & convenient
Pros: Location, location, location, 10 minute walk from Ikeburkuro station & 15 to the downtown. In a residential area, however family mart & 7-11 is close, lively nightlife when you walk to the downtown core. Lots of things to do & close to Yamanote line Washroom is large extremely clean & a nice bidet.
Cons: Size, with 4 North American size travelers, once we put out the futon & pull out bed, there was barely any space to walk around. Basically, room will be in 2 modes, living & sleep mode, you'd need to move the furniture to set-up the sleep mode of the room. Garbage bins are small, would have to message the host to pickup next day, bins only use 25% of the garbage bag & you have to sort the trash, so only 2 garbage bin and a 3rd bag will be out for cans/bottles Photos makes the room larger than what we expected, however this could be a Tokyo thing, so when we walked in, didn't realize how small it was.

Overall good value of money in the underrated area of Ikebukuro
Pros: Accommodation is clean, has everything you might need for a short stay. Easy to self check in/out. The residential are is quiet, 10-15min easy walk from West exit. Nearby coin laundry, conbini. Two Fingers beer bar is just around the corner with good selection of beers, good food with awesome owners and locals/fellow tourists. There is no room cleaning during the stay but the cleaning lady can take your garbage just let them know in advance/give it to her in the morning-she is very nice.
Cons: For a week of stay a change of towels would have been nice, requested it but was not available. After a few days really bad smell came from the bathroom-maybe the pipes need to be checked.

Overall cute and convenient, if you don't mind a small space
Pros: Nice and cozy, our room was a little dirty when we arrived but we contacted the host and they promptly sent the cleaners to clean the day after. It's in a quiet area of ikebukuro so it's nice to get away from the chaos and have some peace. Bed is soft and comfortable. Many konbini around at less than few minutes walking distance
Cons: We were lucky to get a bigger room, but otherwise be prepared to squeeze in a room as big as the bed. Garbage removal and clean towels should be offered for people staying for more than a week, as in Tokyo garbage rakes up very quickly. The fridge is tiny and it's mostly a non problem, but the ice box in it was completely frozen solid and occupied a good 1/3 of the space.

Very good, this was my second time here and I will comeback
Pros: The property is well serviced and even if there is not staff everything can be managed autonomously. There is a washing machine which is very convenient. Rooms are clean and everything looks good.
Cons: The smell coming from the bathtub.
