Pros: We had a great stay. The apartment was very nice, quite large for the price, and spotless. Everything was clean and well kept with nothing to complain about. The location was also great, only about a 4-minute walk to the tram, which was very convenient.

Cons: The only thing that could be improved is that we stayed in January during winter, and it was quite cold. The blanket provided was very thin, so it wasn’t very warm.

Pros: great location, located between a tram station and a train station, lots of konbinis in the area. pleasantly surprised at how spacious our room was, with a bathroom, living room and bedroom situation.

Cons: luckily our room was located on the ground floor so there was no stairs, but beware if you are assigned a room that requires stair access. despite the building being non-smoking, there were people who would smoke and therefore the smell would waft into our room.

Good value if staying more than 1 week

Pros: The price is good for the value. Enough room to sleep 3 adults for 2 weeks. The heater aircond was a saver when Tokyo was -1 degree. It was awesome to have a washing machine. The neighbourhood was quiet and the convenience store such as 7-11 and family mart is everywhere. It's only a short scroll to the station.

Cons: There seems to be some dust around the windows and the house. More in-depth cleaning would be perfect.

Pros: Pretty close to public transport and convenience stores and in a beautiful neighbourhood

Not bad for short stay in Tokyo near Otsuka JR station

Pros: Spacious room with futon for 2-3 people, location is not so straight forward; either a 20 min walk from Oji JR station or short transfer with tram from Otsuka JR station. Good value. Clean place. Quick respond from host.

Cons: If you have heavy luggage, better ask for room on Ground floor, we were not aware and then have to carry heavy luggage through a tight stair case. During check in, instead of triple futon we found only 2 futon bed, but host quickly correct this by sending staff and give small foods & drinks as complimentary, nice gesture. It was not a big deal. No direct interaction with host, all self check in/check out.

Cute homely stay - good value for money

Pros: We loved our stay here. The apartment is very homely and comfortable with lots of space. The kitchen is well equiped and there’s a washing machine and a drying rack on the front balcony. We also loved having a sofa for relaxing and eating. It is located in a very quiet local community area which was nice, however it is about 10 mins walk from the nearest strain station (Oji).. this was ok for us but maybe a little far for some. There is a tram just around the corner that you can take also. And a 7eleven about 3-4 mins walk.

Cons: The bathroom smelt sooo bad- like a smelly wet dog. I thought it was the plumbing but I discovered on our last night that it was actually the bathroom floor matt. I would have washed it myself if I’d had time. So note to owner- please wash floor matt regularly. Other than that it was brilliant.

Pros: 10 minutes walk from the Oji station Apartment owner very communicative and helpful Apartment is equipped

Cons: No elevator, 4th floor with luggage is hard

Pros: The apartment is lovely with a sliding door to separate the room, ideal for privacy. Beds are really comfortable. We didn’t need to interact much with the owner as the instructions were really clear and helpful.

Cons: Locations is a bit far from most of attractions but Ueno is close and lovely area.

Pros: Very nice place, bigger than usual hotel room and air conditioning / heater works like a magic
