SAKURA INN Asakusa station walking 4 Min Shinjuku Shibuya Ginza Oshiage

Pros: It was very central and yet somehow very quiet and felt very safe. The apartment had everything we needed including a kettle, fridge, towels, and even a washing machine.

Cons: There was a but of a perfume smell that we are personally not very fond or, especially coming from the washing machine from very strong soap. This is just a personal preference.

Nice apartment to stay

Pros: A cozy room with a bathroom, kettle, and fridge. It's located in my favorite area, close to the metro and all the shopping streets.

Cons: I can't say I didn't like it, it just has its quirks. It had an unpleasant smell at first, but I quickly got used to it :)

Spacious, practical, clean and comfortable, perfect for a family or group of friends

Pros: The room was more like an apartment, with a small kitchenette and even a washing machine which was so handy. It was a really spacious room which I think is hard to find in Tokyo. Our room had 2 double beds and a single futon bed, as well as a large sofa to sit on, and we still had room to walk around and put our luggage. There were two air conditioning units, one in the bedroom and the other in the kitchenette area, so we set it to dehumidify and could dry our laundry. It’s only a few minutes walk to Tawaramachi station or Asakusa station so very convenient for getting around Tokyo. And the area nearby is lively and interesting with plenty of eating and shopping options. We were very impressed with the size of this apartment and it was very clean and comfortable.

Cons: This place is more like an Air BnB than a hotel, there are no staff on site, and no hotel style facilities like a reception desk etc. But they did have spare supplies you could grab yourself if needed like clean towels etc in the entrance area. If you need somewhere to store your bags before check-in or after check-out there are coin lockers in the nearby Asakusa station. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep , so carrying your bags up the stairs is a bit of a workout.

Wonderful little apartment to explore Tokyo from

Pros: Excellent little place, close to train stations, clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our group of three with check in luggage each. Small bathroom but very manageable. Very quiet at night for sleeping but still safe for a wander. The owners were very quick to answer questions and assist where they could. Check in process was very easy.

Cons: Nothing we didn't like - from an accessibility point of view for future travellers, there is only a staircase and no elevator. You would need to carry your bags up the stairs if given a room on the 2nd floor and up.

Cons: I can’t really think of anything, you thought of everything. I used to have my own vrbo so I appreciate the details, dishes, shoe horn, chair by the door, shower sandles, a pen. We would have loved a couple wine glasses tho

Pros: Location near Asakusa, wide room, 2nd fl, full of acessaries i.e. shampoo, conditioner, soap, dish washing water, cooking place with pan, electric boiling pot, hair dryer, cups, tea pot, green tea. 3 single beds, 1 sofa bed, hanging cloth, freeze, hanging shoes.

Cons: key keeping difficult to close

Everything we needed for a base in Asakusa

Pros: Fantastic location in quiet neighbourhood but very close to interesting places, restaurants, bars, shops etc. and easy. access to subway.

Cons: Steep stairs up four levels, but that's normal in this type of building

Cons: the pillows were like a bean bag!
