Kagaribi Guesthouse

Pros: From outside, it doesn't look that nice, but once inside, everything changes, the kitchen is modern, the bathroom too and everything has a really nice design. The owner is very nice, and he lives on the other side of the road, so he is very active when you need something. Only a little problem: if you are a tall person (more than 185cm), be careful of the ceiling. We are in Japan and things like door frames and chandeliers are low. But the beds are big enough.

Pros: I really love the hostel's structure and furniture, and the common area is so cozy it feels like home. Everything is also very clean.

A clean and convenient place to stay in Tokyo for an affordable price

Pros: It is really clean, which is most important to me, well furnished to cook. The house is cute, smells good of wood and is conveniently located in a residential, quiet area, though the transports are accessible by walking.

Pros: The accommodation was very clean and the train station is a 15min walk away. It was quite small, luggage storage is very limited. After I left, I realized that I forgot something and the owner was so kind to send it to my next accommodation, which I really appreciated:)

Pros: The place was nice. About 20 minutes from the train station.

Cons: The main issue I had was the fact they put a fuzzy rug in the toilet... So the toilet always had a smell regardless of the staff cleaning the place.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable, and there was space in the pod to store my luggage. The facilities were always clean. The location was good for its quiet and calm atmosphere. The shops were only a short walk away, with the train station only a 15 minute walk away. I met a variety of people from all over the world while staying at Kagaribi Guesthouse and made some friends.

Pros: Absolutely amazing. Cozy vibe and I had a nice chance to meet very cool people!💯🥋

Some quiete time in Tokyo while meeting new people.

Pros: It was really nice that it's just a small hostel. You get to know other international people pretty fast.

Cons: The beds were comfortable in the beginning but i wouldn't stay there a week for your back.

Pros: Great location, Great host, Pleasant clientele, Lovely interior design. Bikes to use to get around town. Overall a great introduction to Japan.

Cons: Perhaps leave a note asking guests to close the door to the dormitory when talking in the living room?

Pros: The room was utterly perfect! Real traditional interiors. We had the one with futon and was the first time for us sleeping in it: so comfy :) We had an open window facing the street, every morning we woke up with natural light. Bathroom is really cleaned. We had the chance to leave our luggages at the reception before our check-in time which was really appreciate so we could spend some time outside around Tokyo before check-in time. In the room you have a map with good suggestions about markets, services and restaurants. For us was really helpful! I would say the position is awesome as well. You have peaceful streets where you can enjoy a walk and good restaurants/cafes nearby. It's not crowded and busy like Shinjuku or Shibuya. Even though Kita-Senju station is just 15 minutes walk so you can easily move through the city.

Cons: Spaces are a bit small, but we think is the style of Japan. You couldn't really much cooking in the area, but it's really popular in Japan to buy in minimarkets like 7eleven or FamilyMart ready-made meals so we got by with dose or try the restaurants in the area they are really good and cheap!
