KOSUMOSU Ikebukuro Shinjuku Private House

Pros: clean room, large bathroom, we asked for an extra blanket and they had one delivered that day. Clear instructions for the unit. Easy to get to. Was a wonderful stay.

Cons: Bed was a bit small for us and had a dip in the middle of the matress but my partner and I are quite tall so its understandable.

Clean, Convenient and Comfortable

Pros: I had a great stay here and am very satisfied with the accommodation. The room was clean and thoughtfully prepared with all the basic necessities. The location is a big plus, as it is very close to Kanamecho Station and offers easy access to Ikebukuro Station. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Cons: None.

Great apartment in a perfect location

Pros: The apartment itself was very clean and tidy. The location was brilliant and central to a lot of place, about 20-30 minutes to main locations so it was super convenient. It was also on the side of Ikebukuro that wasn't as busy so it was really nice coming back to a slower paced vibe after being busy all day. Being within walking distance of two stations also gave us the opportunity to miss some of the busier train lines on the days we didn't feel like it.

Cons: The only thing I could have wished for was a couple more towels and coat hangers. We were there for three weeks, which is longer than average so when we had to do our washing it was a little difficult getting things dried. The extra towels would have come in handy on washing days.

Pros: Cozy, tidy place with modern and comfy equipment, high functional facilities and a good location to get into and around Tokyo.

Pros: Very clean, quiet and great location. Staff was quick to respond to messages.

Cons: Tight stairways to floors but this is clearly stated in posting so it was not a surprise. Another fun experience living in Japan.

Good c/p and nice to let family sleep comfortable

Pros: Have basic kitchen accessories and able to heat up dinner suppers. Clean up time is short.

Cons: Towel is not replace everyday when we leave this apartment, would suggest to have clear notice letting guests to hang up wet towels and let it dry in indoor heating

Pros: Everything is perfect and comfortable. Doing laundry is very convenient. The room is clean. There’s also a near by laundry store where you can dry your clothes. Lawson is also nearby.

Cons: There are a little few hangers.

Pros: Easy to reach via Metro, many grocery stores around. Clean facilities.

Cons: Bathroom sink was clogged, vacuum cleaner did not work

Pros: I was looking for an accommodation for my parents, who would visit me for the first time in Japan. They're both in their 60es and not used to bigger cities at all. Luckily this accommodation was close to my apartment but still not located in the area that's crowded and noisy at night. The rooms were extremely clean and very well equipped. Even for older folks who didn't understand any English or Japanese they had no trouble using the facilities and had a great sleep in the double bed - even better than at home! This was huge for us. Further, in bigger hotels you usually cannot open any windows and constantly hear your neighbours. Non of this was true for COSMOS. We barely heard any noises and could open the balcony door to get fresh air in. I believe for Europeans this is a big deal, so I'd highly recommend!

Cons: Not a big minus point, but the only thing I'd suggest would be a hanger for wet towels since they wouldn't dry hanging them over the barrel in the bath room. Maybe a hanger you can put under the tall table if not needed and take out when you actually need would do the job? (The ones they sell at Nitori)
