Quiet and clean

Pros: Magnificent staff, a really kind Japanese lady who actually speaks some English, enough to comunicate and help, location is great, close to the train station and close de Haneda airport.

Cons: Be prepared to listen to each train passing by, it is the only thing I could complain about but that's also due to the proximity to a train station and railways.

Great spot for a great price.

Pros: The location was sublime. 3 min walk from the station and so easy to find. There is a family mart and grocery store nearby. The lady who runs it is so sweet and attentive. I liked that the girls dorm was seperate from the downstairs boys one. Has everything you need and the price was great.

Cons: Definitely tiny for bathroom and shower but not too far off from the normal japanese ones. The location is so close to the train station that you will hear and feel the trains. She provides ear plugs so if you're sensitive to that, I would not suggest it. I kind of liked it so it was fine for me. Also the check-in time is super strict. It's someone's home so there's no walking in before check in. I found out its a popular place for ladies to stay on the weekend for those who work or have been drinking close by. Note that they arrive at 11pm and don't go to sleep till 1am and then they're up at 5am for the first train home. So if you want uninterrupted sleep, don't book Friday or Saturday nights.

Pros: Super cozy place, kind receptionist. Perfect to rest after a long flight landed at Haneda airport. I would defenitely come back!

Cons: At late night I could hear a television, but I managed to sleep well thanks to earplugs (offered by the guest house).

Guesthouse SHIE SHIMI

Pros: The guesthouse was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Conveniently close to the train station and to local restaurants, convenience stores, and laundromat.

Cons: While it didn't bother me, as it can sleep through most anything, please be aware that the guesthouse is located directly next to the train lines, so you can hear and feel when a train passes.

Pros: The property was very close to the train station. The front staff were very kind and welcoming. The room is pretty small but the bunk bed was pretty comfortable to sleep in. The room is air conditioned. There are lockers in the room so you can store your stuff. There are charging outlets on the bed. Top of the bunk bed is really close to the ceiling so you have to be careful.
