Ikebukuro no Yado detached house

Pros: Love the place. Great Location. It was really near to Ikebukuro West Station. And near to so many malls and shopping places. Family mart was jus 1min walk away. There was even a traditional bath house jus a few steps away. It was so convenient for us to travel to various places like Harajuku, Shinjuku and Shibuya.

Pros: This is traditional Japanese house with security & privacy considerations well-thought off. As we stayed during winter, the windows & doors were shut most of the time. The tatami mat bedrooms kept the floor warm. The toilet on each floor was definitely a lifesaver! The new trundle beds are new and toasty. Do support the vending machine outside the house, definitely cheaper than combini..

Cons: The living room space was tight with the chairs and drying clothes rack and un-useable mahjong table. That’s all

Value for money, great location.

Pros: Peaceful location, near food chains & 8 minute walk to train station. Many convenience stores very close to it. Kitchen amenities are complete and we are able to cook our own food. Owner is very considerate for letting us leave our luggages until 3PM….kind of late check out for free.

Cons: Ideal for maximum of 5 people, more than this could feel crumpy. There were 8 of us and property description said could accommodate upto 8.

A great option for exploring Tokyo

Pros: Great location, about 5 minutes from Ikebukuro station on the JR Yamamoto line. The location is very convenient for getting to Shinjuku (about 10 minutes by train) to meet connecting Shinkansen for day trips to Fuji, or just to explore the sights of Tokyo. There is a Lawson and Family Mart close by, and also a Don Quote store. Directions to get there were clear and easy to understand. The host was attentive and replied to emails quickly. The rooms were clean and had plenty of bedding and blankets etc We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again one day.

Cons: This is not the accommodations fault, but the neighbours would sit on the balcony talking loudly at night which was a bit annoying, but not the fault of the property.

A 2 bedroom little house to yourself close to Toshima.

Pros: Location is good. Close to many stores, eats and metro lines. Traditional and cozy.

Cons: The house is a bit simple and outdated .

Wonderful stay. Great value!

Pros: Cute and convenient. Hosts are very responsive. The house is a gem. There are two toilets, important for the family use.

Quiet house has everything you need for a home away from home.

Pros: This property is in a great location with close proximity to the Ikebukuro Station, Don Q, and a variety of shops, restaurants, spas, and bars/clubs. The security of the house, Upstairs toilet and downstairs shower/bath, and kitchen ideal for a group or family. Owner very responsive to calls and text.

Cons: The property sleeps five-six comfortably, eight if you sleep on the floor futon, 10 is packing it in..

Pros: JR池袋駅の西口(北)から歩いて５分以内着きます。 宿のドアから２ｍは自販機、コンビニは５０ｍほど、とても便利です。
