Fabulous stay for first time in Tokyo. Ash and Tracey were both very helpful. Kids loved the house especially the tradit

Pros: Excellent location close to station Large house plenty of space for two families with children Excellent hosts very accomodating

Cons: Steep stairs for kids but had a door we could close to keep the two year old going up and down independently

Pros: the house is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Location is ideal to explore Shinjuku district as well as big Tokyo area. Ash and Tracey are exceptionally hospitable and helpful hosts.

Lovely property in a quiet and local Japanese neighbourhood.

Pros: I liked the character and charm of the property. Authentically Japanese.

Cons: Everything was great. There was nothing I didn't like.

Great place, great location.

Pros: The location of the property was excellent, being a short walk from the metro and shops to get grocery supplies. There were also some good food options close by. The house itself was clean, warm and comfortable for our two family groups to stay together with plenty of room to move around. We were met at the house by Ashley who explained everything to us and was quick to respond to any enquiries.

Cons: Not that we cooked at the house as our stay was only short, however if a family were to stay and use the kitchen there is not any preparation space, but unsure if this is typical for Japan?

Pros: The proximity to public transport, shops and restaurants. The place is well appointed and works well for families The quiet and authentic neighbourhood, we enjoyed not being surrounded by other tourists The warm welcome by the owner

Cons: It was a little cold downstairs, but still very comfortable

Pros: 这是一间真真正正的日本武士房屋，空间很大适合全家旅行居住，厨具一应俱全，超大的电视柔软的沙发，舒适的床，还有一台Xbox游戏机！居住地非常安静，你可以睡的很好。这是我第一次住民宿非常幸运体验很好。钥匙有专人交到你手里并告诉你如何处理垃圾，没有很麻烦你只需要在下飞机时提前通知他我们大概什么时间到就OK了。

Cons: 地理位置还好，居住地离中野新桥地铁400m，离新宿歌舞伎町步行1.3公里左右。但从新宿坐地铁到中野新桥站容易让人晕。楼下WIFI信号不太好。

Good home to return to from the city; quiet and comfortable place.

Pros: Quiet rural neighborhood. Good cafes and restaurants in area. Close to train station.

Cons: Only 1 bathroom on first level. Trash/recycling system a little confusing.

Pros: On se sent comme à la maison, en mode japonais ; très bon accueil avec les instructions et les conseils pour trouver les magasins et les restos à proximité ; ici c'est le mode village au plein cœur de Tokyo. Bonne base de départ pour découvrir la ville. chambres et lits agréables.

Cons: Rien de particulier ; l'hiver, il fait froid, et l'isolation est perfectible, mais pas de problème.

Pros: We had a fantastic stay at The Samurai House. Ashley meet us at the station, which was a great help to us as we had a little bit of extra luggage that he assisted with. The pre-arrival information he sent, the house welcome pack, and questions he answered before the booking were also of a great help, as Japan/Tokyo can be a difficult place to navigate sometimes. Once inside Ashley quickly and courteously explain the house rules. We had lots of extra questions and he was able to give us information on the best restaurants in the area and also giving us transportation recommendations for the rest of our journey in Japan and information on luggage forwarding. We were very grateful for his local knowledge
