Family of 5 visiting Tokyo for a few days needing close links to transport and local supermarket.

Pros: Perfect house for family of 5 for short stay in Tokyo. We were keen to explore north east Tokyo and Ueno and this location was perfect. A short walk to Iryia metro station and supermarket. We headed to Ueno for most activities as the area around the property was quiet and residential. It was nice to experience a less touristy neighbourhood. The check in was seamless. House very clean with all we needed. It was actually more modern and better than it appears in the photos. Host provided excellent information about the facilities.

Cons: Nothing. It was great.

Pros: Good location in a quiet area. Clean and well maintained.

Cons: 3 floors with narrow stairs between. Ok, but gets tiring. Well that is Japan.

Pros: A lovely home in a quiet and friendly location. Everything was thought through to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We would have loved to have stayed longer!

Great stay in residential Taito

Pros: Great residential location, actually felt like a foreigner here, rather than the touristy places where most store clerks etc. speak some English. Great access to central Tokyo via Iriya subway, Uguisudani station, and Ueno Park, all easily walkable. The house itself is very compact as you'd expect, but worked well for 3 adults and a child.

Cons: If the owner would add a sofa/couch it would make the experience a little more relaxing. Socialising was done around the dinner table. Ultimately the main benefit of this place was value for money when coming with a family, it certainly provided excellent value.

Pros: Super clean and cozy! The beds were big enough for our whole family (up to six people including kids). We especially loved the amazing Japanese-style bathroom!

Pros: Very close to the 7eleven and other supermarkets, nearby ramen is wonderful after a day full of sightseeing. Place is super clean, working air conditioning in every bedroom is a big plus. Cozy place, quiet neighborhood. I really liked the rooftop view :) Also, a big plus for washing machine, some small details like umbrellas, shampoos or fully equipped kitchen. No bad sides. Only recommend!

Pros: Our two families had a wonderful three-day trip. My boy especially loved the attic on the third floor—every time we returned to the room, he would run straight to his secret hideaway. The shower water temperature was very comfortable, and on the second day, we did some cooking. My wife had a delightful birthday celebration. Thanks again to thr iriya house
