Mochida's Guest House

Good place to stay

Pros: The owner is very kind and friendly. She will try her best to arrange and manage everything that could possibly comfort you the most. The location isn't that bad, it's far from the station but it's fun to walk. The room looks okay to me, the air conditioner works very well, the bed and the mattress are fine.

Cons: I think the guesthouse should have at least 2 bathrooms because it's being shared with 5 units (almost 10 people or more). I had to force myself and my family to wake up at 6 a.m. and come back as late as 11 p.m. to avoid bathroom traffic. The room isn't soundproof and it's quite annoying to hear people talking in the living room until midnight almost everyday. I think the owner should have set some rules to prevent guests disturbing each other during their stays 🙏🥺

Very good stay, first time in Tokyo. Will stay again !

Pros: Landlord was very caring and hospitable - picked me up from the train station as I reached late at night. Short(relatively) 800m walk to the station - has Lawson nearby 24 hours. Nice and self sustainable neighborhood with supermarkets, , grocery shops, affordable eateries Shops open around 9:30- 10:30am. Landlord gave good tips on transport to airport , helpful in packing your bags if you overshop. Common areas are cleaned every day

Cons: This is coliving - sharing of two toilets and kitchen. (Worked for me as I wanted an affordable stay and was out most of the day) Landlord speaks mainly Japanese and Chinese, so some translation needed if you speak English

Pros: Everything was super clean. I was provided with everything I may have needed + the owners were adorable and give me a lot of information about sightseeing locations. I recommand to stop at Mochida's guest house.

Pros: The accommodation was easy to find and the hosts were very welcoming. I was provided with detailed instructions on how to find the accommodation and the hosts (who live upstairs) walked me through the amenities when I arrived. I believe they speak Chinese and Japanese but even with a language barrier, we were able to communicate. There are convenience stores nearby and a small playground/park across the street. The other guests were respectful and I enjoyed my stay!

Cons: The location was both a pro and a con as it was a bit far from the center of Tokyo but it was also a nice residential neighborhood that I'm glad I was able to experience.

A family stay

Pros: The owners are kind and helpful and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. You are provided with anything you might need. They even gave me an umbrella for the heavy rain we had on the day I left. I'd stay here again for sure :)

Cons: Can't complain

Pros: It surpassed what I expected, even thought was a little worried about the place being new in the platform and had to pay first, I'd totally recommend it. The part that you can go back to your room whenever you want is nice. It was pretty clean.

Cons: I don't have any complains about the place, but the location is a little far. Would be nice if there are more english friendly instructions for the check in.

Very quiet place

Pros: The property owner was very kind and obliging. Though booked for three nights we stayed only for one night because we had to change our travel plan.

Cons: Should have been another bed in the room

Pros: Private and Quiet. Clean. Check route first then it is easy to find. Local area real Japan.

Increíble y cómodo

Pros: La atención de la dueña de la casa, super amable, me hizo sentir como en casa, sin duda alguna volvería a hospedarme, recomendable para vivir una experiencia local, agradezco el desayuno que me preparó antes de partir a mi siguiente destino
