Convenient, great facilities, quiet room.

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. The common areas are looked after very well

Cons: Bed is a little bit small for two people but fine for a couple of nights.

A extremely relaxing stay that is 2 stops away Shibuya station

Pros: Convenient location 2 mins walk to Nakameguro station. Clean and spacious facility with generous sized rooms compared to the usual chain hotels. Comfortable and serene communal areas. Shared bathroom facilities but more than sufficient facilities. Free snacks kindly provided by the host. Located near restaurants and convenience stores and good bakery at the station. Friendly and accomodating staff that arranged for check in after front desk was closed

Cons: There are no lifts and there are two flights of stairs to get to the property. So may be difficult for guests with large luggage or for guestswho cannot negotiate stairs.

Pros: Had a brilliant first couple of nights in Japan here. Very clean, enough room to store our luggage. Working A/C and a good location. Even gave us free snacks.

Stylish, Spacious Stay Steps from Nakameguro Station

Pros: Waves Nakameguro was a great surprise. It’s a hostel with private rooms and shared bathrooms, and the location is super convenient — just steps from the station. The room was extremely comfortable and impressively spacious for Tokyo standards. The common areas are beautifully designed, full of style and art, creating a really welcoming atmosphere. The girl at the front desk was very kind and attentive. There were complimentary snacks and water available in the room, which was a nice touch. The shared bathrooms were clean as well.

Cons: The only downsides were that the individual toilet stalls didn’t have hand soap, and the property has three floors accessible only by stairs, which can be a bit challenging if you’re carrying heavy luggage.

Always my favourite stay in Tokyo.

Pros: Super quiet, comfortable, best location. I’ve stayed here many times over years. It’s also been recently renovated and feels very fresh! Will be back again next time.

Pros: The location is really near the subway and 711 is just nearby Also, have a lot of restaurants nearby. The room size is also big, I can open the suitcase on the ground.

Cons: One time I told the staff to supply the tissue but when I went back to the room, they didn't give me tissue, and it was already nighttime time so I couldn't find anyone to get the tissue. Also, the staff didn't notice the public shower room ran out of body wash, I need to tell the staff there was no more body wash in the next morning.

Beautiful relaxing stay.

Pros: One of the best hostels we have stayed in. Create a real sense of home and calm to come to. Not too big and very lovely staff. Super comfortable. Great kitchen / lounge set up. Very comfortable for three people.

Pros: I stupidly thought l had booked 3 nights but l had booked 2. The last night, was a room hold for a late flight. Thinking l could come back, pack and shower then leave. So my room was a bit of a mess. The staff were brilliant and understanding of my mistake. I offered compensation for a late check-out. They wouldn't take my money and they let me shower and freshen up. Complete stars. So thanks Waves.

Cons: If you're looking to meet lots of people (as a solo traveller) this place might not be for you.

Pros: Staff was very friendly. Comfortable living space. Very clean. Little attentions. Comfortable slippers.

Nice place with chilled vibe

Pros: Loved this place. We had two rooms across from each other and they weren't huge but big enough (and decent for Tokyo I think). The central area was nice to chill in, and there was a great bakery (City Bakery) round the corner which we used for breakfast. No problem using shared bathrooms - there are only a few rooms here so we didn't see much of the other guests but everyone we did see was polite and friendly. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Also the location - Meguro is quite chilled and a cool place, but close to Shibuya, Ebisu etc. Recommended!
