Very good deal

Pros: Very good location in Sangenjaya, the room is tiny but meh, you're in Japan. Small but comfy bed, fast wifi, small bathroom but effective. Very good deal for the price.

Cons: Nothing, maybe the non-smoking policy applied when you're outside in private parts but I can understand.

Pros: good facility that can be used in the kitchen and doing laundy.

Cons: too crowded in one small space room. I lost my headphone. Somebody took my coffee and creamer in the kitchen.

Best accommodation in Tokyo so far

Pros: I've been experiencing A LOT of accommodations in Tokyo and this one is my favourite so far. The location is great. The neighborhood is very pleasant. The common space is very nice. The bathrooms are good. The cleaning team is made of remarkably charmful, polite and helpful people. The aesthetics are delightful. PS : for customers who complain in the comment section about the coldness or the automatic turn off of the light or the noises (lack of sound-insulation)...please learn what the philosophy of Wabi Sabi means before booking here. WS is austere, and cold, but beautiful. And this place has indeed a small flavour of this Wabi Sabi feelings. I appreciate that.

Cons: The noisy behaviour of some niissshii bannndjin customers.

Pros: Found in a cute lil' neighbourhood and close to Kitazawa (Matcha Passport, Ignite Yoga, Reload....) which is a cool area. Very calm vibes. P.s. Check out Somewhere... If you can find it—my favourite spot in Tokyo.

Felt like being at home. Thank you

Pros: Very comfortable just like being at home. Guests were all quiet and respectful of others. Super clean.

Cons: Mosquitoes… I would have appreciated if there were mosquito repellent at my room.

Pros: Great location, lovely staff, interesting to stay in a Japanese hostel with a lovely ambience.

Cons: Some may find the futons to be uncomfortable for longer stays. We chose to stay in Tokyo during the first half of our trip, and moving to a hotel in Osaka afterwards with a bed was lovely. The futons were appropriate, however, we would recommend staying here sooner rather than later if you are doing a trip to multiple cities as moving from a bed to a futon may be quite the shock.

Pros: Check in was a bit confusing for me but luckily another kind guest helped me! (There is No staff) The hostel is a really beautiful place and the beds were soft and comfortable. Great location from Shimokitazawa if you like beds

Cons: Only thing was that me and my roommates did not know how to turn off the big lights in the room.
