Excellent customer service, however small roooms.
Pros: I enjoyed the customer service that was provided at hotel MONday. It was staffed 24/7 with a variety of receptionists speaking different languages, accomodating to the needs of the guests. They were able to help out with our same- day luggage delivery, making travelling to Kyoto much more easy. Overall, staff were highly respectful and friendly, making our stay very pleasant. Furthermore, we were close to the train station as well as 7/11 making late night snacks accessible.
Cons: Unfortunately the room size was very small, we were unable to fully open some of our luggage, but we already had some sort of low expectation that the rooms would be small. After a long day of exploring and shopping, coming back to the room was sometimes frustrating with the little amount of space. The bathroom was also small too, but once again, we did not expect a large space.

Pros: The staff were friendly and very accommodating if we had any needs or questions. It was a wonderful way to end our trip. The midnight Cafe was also a highlight! The washing machine and dryer were a bonus, too, not having to leave the building. It was super easy to follow, and there was no need to purchase washing powder - a dream to have access.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Convenient to metro, supplies availabile in lobby, free water on non room clean days and cheap bottled water available in vending.
Cons: Couldn't get early check-in unless paid by hour, however they let us in 15 minutes early. Small room, one bed against the wall.

Caring stuff
Pros: Best hotel during my 3 weeks in Japan - and Just because the staff was extremely helpful and spoke English! Special thanks to our guardian angel Karen from Hong Kong from the front desk for taking care of us and warning us about logistic problems in our itinerary that we avoided in the end! Note for the hotel: you will get more good reviews on TripAdvisor or Booking.com if you invest into hiring more foreigners in reception, because in Japan room service is pretty much equally good everywhere but only in few hotels the receptionists speak good English and can fulfill the customers expectations (so they do not feel frustrated like it happens on a daily basis while trying to communicate into Japan)

Pros: Great staff with multiple languages supported at the front counter. Convenient access to Disney Parks with the free shuttle bus. Rooms very small, but this didn't matter as our family was out long hours and just needed affordable and close accommodation to Disney. Also, a great local food mall right at your doorstep.
Cons: Rooms were very tight and beds were hard, as commonly found in Japan.
