Quiet location and lovely stay

Pros: 2nd time here. Love the traditional style of Japanese hotel. The staff is the key as the returning guest. They are very professional and friendly. Attention to all small details that exceed expectation. Good Japanese breakfast selection. Very quiet surrounding. Direct bus to Haneda airport that is around 200m away from the hotel. Indoor and outdoor public bath with sauna.

A home from home atmosphere.

Pros: This hotel is like my home from home. I always feel very comfortable staying here. This is down to the homely, friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by all the lovely staff. They always have time for a chat, which I appreciate when so far away from home. The hotel is so well situated in a quiet area, yet so close to the bustle of Kita Senju. There is no better hotel for providing accessories, and all the various free drinks, and delicious deserts, courtesy of the attached bakery, are a wonderful treat. My standard single room is well sized, and the double bed has to be the most comfortable of all beds. I enjoy staying in this hotel, and Kita Senju is an area I feel very connected to and happy to be.

First Experience in Japan

Pros: I loved the authenticity of the neighbourhood. It is a wonderful location and accessible to train service to busier hot spots of Tokyo.

Cons: The foyer area is a little dated.

Great stay in an underrated part of Tokyo

Pros: Hotel is right in the centre of Kitasenju, a very underrated part of Tokyo. Free drinks from 5-8pm Very quiet considering how busy the area is.

Cons: I should've stayed in the area for more than 1 day.

Very convenient to stay for exploring Tokyo and surroundings.

Pros: Location was excellent, close to train station, shops and restaurants. Also close to centre of Tokyo. Hotel staff were efficient. There was a massage chair in the room and a public bath for customers

Cons: Toilet seat was stained which you wouldn’t be able to clean because of old age it need to be replaced. That was the only disappointment.

A lovely hotel, with fantastic staff and great area to come back to after a busy day.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful, the size of the room is nice compared to a lot of the tiny hotel rooms in Tokyo so that was helpful! Great area, super close to the train station and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

Cons: Would have loved if the public bath was tattoo friendly, the staff advised I could use it when no one was in there but I decided not to as I didn’t want to have to jump out mid bath if someone came in

Excellent Stay with Great Amenities and Convenience

Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests. The room was spotless and surprisingly spacious, especially considering Japan’s typical hotel room sizes. It was well-equipped and very comfortable. The location was another highlight—just a 5-minute walk to the train station, making it super convenient for getting around. At the same time, it’s not in a heavily crowded area like some prime districts, which made for a more relaxing and enjoyable stay. One of the best features was the onsen and sauna. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, this hotel offers great value, comfort, and convenience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful yet accessible place to stay!
