Pros: The location was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful. For those concerned about language barriers, don't worry too much. Everyone seems to know at least a few important English words or phrases and are eager to help.

Great location and excellent value
Pros: Great service from the front desk on check-in and check out. They were very helpful with arranging a couple of things. The room was very clean and well -stocked with everything you need for a short break. The location is ideal for exploring Tokyo, though there is a lot to explore in Koenji. Overall excellent value for money.

Great hotel in a great neighbourhood.
Pros: So convenient, lying on top of the railway station, close to everything, there is no noise from the station or the railways in the rooms. The staff so very helpful and kind, not a concern was too small. Absolutely love the area with lots so small cafe and restaurants, boutiques, secondhand shops. Would stay again if ever in Koenji or Tokyo for that matter.

Pros: The view on the trains and trainstation was very enjoyable for our son. The windows are completely silencing outside noise.
Cons: The bed was on the small side for a couple and a 4 yo to sleep in, but the bed itself and the sheets were comfortable.

Perfect location, comfortable modern room, lively neighbourhood
Pros: I was a bit worried about noise, especially knowing the hotel is located right above the JR station, but it was one of the most quiet hotels I stayed at during my stay in Japan. The hotel seems to have been refurbished fairly recently so everything looked clean and modern. The bathroom had a bathtub which was unexpected and really nice. A new water bottle was given everyday. The neighbourhood is bursting with restaurants and bars and is very lively.
Cons: This is really minor and did not affect my stay in any way, but the self check-in system was a bit awkward. There are 2 machines with actual humans helping you operate them. Plus on the machine there is a screen with an actual person speaking to you in a FaceTime-like style. So in total there were 3 people helping, I don't see how that's more efficient than just talking to 1 person behind a counter...
