A gem of a stay in Takanawa

Pros: Good sized for Tokyo standards. Modern and accessible. There's a great daifuku place nearby that had been visited by the Emperor and Empress. Supermarket and large Matsumoto Kiyoshi within walking distance. Quiet neighbourhood is great for families, felt like a local.

Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend and would return.

Pros: Lots of space. Huge apartment for Japan. Really quiet neighbourhood and lovely neighbours. Great location. Easy walk to metro. Restaurants, chemists, supermarket, convenience stores and shops all within easy walking distance.

Cons: Needs a deep clean. A bit dusty.

Walking distance to the takanewa gateway, use a JR pass to access everything

Pros: Quiet location, please be respectful of the locals, don't roll your baggage, carry it.

Cons: We caught some dirty looks from the neighbors, not because we were loud, but perhaps visitors before use were not so considerate.

Cons: Echamos en falta una secadora en casa ya que a la casa no le da el sol en todo el día y la ropa no se secó en los 3 días de estancia, lavándolo el primero

Quiet residential area stay!

Pros: Nestay Villa Tokyo Takanawa was a very comfortable stay for my family and I. Location was within walking distance of the nearest station, retrieving the keys was relatively easy, although the check-in process required filling out information on a web form, which I think is standard in Japan. Area was quiet, wifi worked well, beds were comfortable, and there was hot water in the shower.
