LoveTokyo Maisonette Terrace

Great location for families.

Pros: This 2 level apartment was spacious and located so close to Nezu station that getting around was really easy. We were a family of 7 with 4 adults and 3 kids and it suited us really well. Supermarket around the corner, great local restaurants, 15 minutes walk to Uneo Park and all the cultural treasures. The host Momoko was kind and attentive and the check in information was very easy to use. We would definitely stay again if we are back in Tokyo.

Cons: There were no problems, all clean and well presented.

Pros: Spacious! Amazing balcony with fabulous views! Super clean! 2 toilets. It was a great place to stay!

Cons: Very steep stairs! Not suitable for children or elderly!

Comfortable and spacious start to our Japan adventure with friends..

Pros: Very spacious for a Tokyo apartment. Nice quiet neighbourhood but close enough to access everything by train and on foot. Overall a good apartment. We left our bags in the little utility room on the living room level as the stairs down to the bedroom were treacherously steep. Not really a big deal, but worth noting!

Cons: The kitchen was very basic, would not have wanted to cook anything due to lack of utensils etc. some extra pillows would have been nice as the only ones supplied were rock hard. Had a lot of trouble accessing the room on arrival. Maybe run through the instruction with someone who has never done it to experience the difficulties. Got there eventually, but very confusing!!

Modern, spacious apartment in a great location.

Pros: Great location, a stone’s throw from Nezu Station and right in the thick of many restaurants and konbinis. Easy walk to Ueno. Ridiculously spacious for inner Tokyo.

Cons: Hard to find a fault. Perhaps some more effort could be made with the blackout curtains? One window in my bedroom had no curtains at all and the early morning sunshine woke me up earlier than I wished.

Brilliant find in the heart of Tokyo for a family holiday

Pros: We had a family holiday for 8 Pepe and this place was just the perfect place. Centrally located, very comfortable rooms and beds, a nice big terrace to enjoy the Tokyo weather with beautiful views of the city and Skytree. It was the perfect place for us.

Great spot and good sized place

Pros: Lots of space for our family of 5. We each had our own double bed. Good location next to the station with some nice places to eat within walking distance

Cons: Stairs going to bedrooms are small. Wasn’t an issue with us but anyone with walking issues or who struggles with normal stairs would find this a challenge

Pros: The apartment is spacious as you can see it on pictures. Amazing terrace with a view to the tower and the city. The locations is amazing (for Tokyo), we very often just walk in the morning and come back by public transport in the evening. We had really nice time staying there. Did not have problem with the night \

Cons: Just be aware that Tokyo is a noisy city, we used earplugs in every city in Japan were we stay in. Just note as some europeans may find it problematic.

Good if you are silent

Pros: The place itself is nice, as announced. The location is also great. There was just one problem...

Cons: Looks like there is a serious issue with the neighbours and there are a lot of menaces and warnings about avoiding noise. Going with little kids, it was impossible to relax and we barely used the lower floor out of fear the police might be called and a huge fine applied. Surprisingly, one night some noisy neighbours woke us up instead.

good place for a family

Pros: the place was spacious and clean. there is a large balcony to relax.

Cons: due to complaints made against previous travellers, there is a noise restriction on the bottom floor after a certain time.

Pros: Everything was really perfect. We'll be back some day.
