PRISM Inn Kamata

Good value stay for six people for four nights.

Pros: Good value for stay, comfortable beds. Owner was relatively attentive and the location was pretty good.

Cons: The room was slightly crammed for 6 people, as we had some slight trouble finding space for all our suitcases.

Pros: Bed was so soft and comfortable, clean and everything was provided.

Cons: Teapot water was scalding hot, had to add cold water

Pros: Very open compared to a lot of the apartment/hotels for the similar price.

Cons: Couldn't get the phone app to work

Great stay, would recommend

Pros: Hosts were very prompt in communicating. Property is within walking distance to multiple stations. Toiletries and facilities were great. Comfortable and clean space. Appreciated the elevator which meant I didn’t have to lug my luggages up and down the stairs. Being pregnant, this made a huge difference. Located conveniently right next to a 7-Eleven store as well.

Cons: There was underwear left by a previous person in the balcony which wasn’t pleasant to see.

Overall fantastic, except the distance of stay from major sub cities in Tokyo

Pros: Every facilities needed within the house is available. Cleanliness of the place was tip top condition. The staff communications style was very helpful & polite, providing us all the necessary information needed.

Cons: The location of Prism Inn Kamata is quite far too Shibuya, Shinjuku, Asakusa, Ueno area. If you are interested in travelling to these areas, it will take around 1 hr 30 minutes to reach these sites.

Modern, simplistic - would stay again in the future

Pros: - Located along the Keikyu line (Keikyu Kamata station) - short walk, which can be a disadvantage to some - Laundry facility with detergent included! - Close to two 7-Eleven stores to pick up food - Bedroom can be separated by sliding door - Modern style home - Kichette available but we did not use - Very fast Wifi connectivity - Lift access to 2nd floor, so I did not need to carry my luggage up the second floor rooms - Single-use NFC to unlock door is very cool (need to follow email instruction and download an App), so everyone can have access to key - Quick easy check-out - Towels, amenities like detergents, cups, plates, cutleries, fridge, Japanese toilet - It was roomy enough to accomodate 5 adults - Close to airport (within 15 min Keikyu Express Train) - easy for check-out for early flights

Cons: Nothing can really be improved, but those who are willing to stay should be aware of the following - May need to walk a short distance from Keikyu Kamata station - it can be a tedious task to haul the luggage unless you have booked a car-ride to the accommodation - It is a quiet neighbourhood with low foot traffic; although, we felt safe at night as it is Japan - They didn’t provide a foot towel for coming out of the bathroom - and we slipped on 2 occasions. They were instructions of not placing towels on the floor - so I wish they issued one to avoid slip hazard. - It is not in the city center and will cost more to travel to city for attractions (which worked for us).

Our hosts were great and we enjoyed staying at the PRISM Inn Kamata as we explored and enjoyed Tokyo

Pros: Reasonably easy flat walk to stations on the Keikyu line. Apartment was spacious and very clean with cooking facilities and a full-size fridge. Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood away from traffic and entertainment for a good nights sleep. Easy access to Haneda Airport and reasonable access to Narita Airport by local trains. The apartment had every thing we needed including a space to dine making for a very comfortable stay.

Cons: Even though a clothes washer is provided there was no place to dry clothes at or close to the apartment.

Clean family accomodation

Pros: The size was good for 5 of us, washing machine and drying was very useful, kitchen was handy. This place was very clean. 7eleven is nearby.

Cons: 15 minutes walk to the kamata was too far, but enjoyable. No coffee/tea provided when we arrived at night.

Great stay to experience life in modern Japanese house.

Pros: The property was nicely furnished with great cleanliness. Amenities were very good.

Overall, we had a nice comfortable stay at the property.

Pros: Clean and tidy apartment. Everything was provided, including washing detergent and slippers. There were cooking facilities but would be a challenge to try to cook a meal for a family of 5 in such a small area.

Cons: The property feels crowded with 5 people.
