On the doorstep of Senso-Ji!

Pros: Location was great, a step away from Senso-ji. A little bit away from a train station, maybe a 10 minute walk but a lovely little neighbourhood with lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Check in and out was super easy, the place had everything you need for a small stay in an apartment. Definitely recommend walking around the temple early in the morning before the crowds get there.

Cons: Nothing!

Clean and practical place at a great location in Tokyo.

Pros: The place was clean, well equipped with microwave, washing machine, kitchenette, kettle and rice steamer. The apartment is very quiet: you can't hear the neighbours and only some very distant traffic noise. It gets very hot in Tokyo in summer so I was happy the airco worked well and quietly, after figuring out what buttons to press on the remote (Google lens translate is a big help). Location is great, only a few steps away from the Senso-ji temple and 12 minute walk to the Asakusa stations (subways + train). The owner was very friendly (via the app) and responsive.

Cons: The mattress was way too soft for me, but that is a matter of taste. I also had to remove the 10cm thick winter duvet from the cover because it was obviously not suitable in the summer with 30+ degrees outdoors. The duvet then took a large portion of the space in the cupboard as I tried to get it out of the way. A thin blanket would instead have been welcome. Sometimes at night, there is some condensation water dripping from the corner of the airco and falling noisily on the shelves, but I fixed that by placing a towel underneath.
