Convenient ‘home base’ for our family for our week-long stay in Tokyo.

Pros: Great location near to everything and Shibuya station less than 10 minutes walk, from which you can get the trains/connections across the city. Comfy beds. Quiet.

Cons: It is nearby to the nightclub, Womb, and a number of love hotels. We were worried about whether it would be a suitable area to stay with children, but it was quiet and we never had any concerns about safety walking around the area (we generally were at home before 9… maybe it was different later?). As other reviews have said, it’s tight on space and there’s steep/tight stairs to navigate with luggage on arrival.

Pros: Location is convenient, yet it still takes about 15 mins walk from the Shibuya Station on busy streets.

Cons: Some smell in the bathroom probably due to inadequate ventilation after previous stays by other users. Upper beds are without fences.

Fantastic accommodation. One room, but curtains on bunk beds gave privacy. Oh so comfortable mattress.

Pros: Location, location, location! Beds are so comfortable. Very clean. Washer/dryer combo, easy to use with google translate. Curtains around each bunk bed, gave our teenagers their own space. Great communication. Self check-in - but be aware you need to fill out a form and provide passport details (including copy of passport) from a link in the messages section of platform.

Cons: Not a problem for us, but three flights of narrow stairs to top floor may be of concern for some people.

Pros: Well appointed, easy to enter and leave, well situated. Bathroom was fairly large, beds were fairly comfortable. Very clean, excellent location. Room was quiet, warm.

Cons: Room was TINY. Almost too small for four people and suitcases, 6 would be undoable.

Super location, big room for Tokyo.

Pros: We arrived late, so it was great to be able to let ourselves in. The room was big for Tokyo so great for our family having the extra space for our luggage. The location was great, easy access to the station, restaurants and shops and a taxi could get down the street. The kids loved it and want to stay again.

Cons: It is a little noisy if the neighbours are up and down the stairs. The floor was freezing underfoot - but you get slippers for that.
