Singapore 🇸🇬

Pros: The bathroom doubles up as clothes dryer and could be pre-heated before shower/bath during colder seasons. Separate toilet and bathroom. The metro/subway, a supermarket/grocery store, convenience stores and a handful of asian and italian restaurants are nearby, all within 5-min walk radius in a quiet neighbourhood during night times.

Cons: Check-out time at 10AM is a little earlier than some of the other accommodation options.

Pros: Great location, clean, spacious, comfortable in every way

Cons: There is washing machine but no drying machine so it was tricky to dry laundry. Otherwise very good.

Probably would repeat if visited Tokyo again

Pros: Short distance to Iriya station (metro) and Uguisudani station (train) as well as to Senso-ji temple, Nakamise-dori, Asakusa and Ueno. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Posiitioned on 7th floor so no noise from the street at all. Good instruction how to get in, though you need to know how to use the key, cause it might not be obvious (instruction message sent via Booking had link removed :-) ).

Pros: Location, the washing machine, bathtub and the firm mattress and pillows.

Cons: The microwave is placed too high and unplugged. Takes a lot of effort to climb up to plug. Lack of electrical sockets at the kitchen makes it difficult to use the rice cooker.

Very spacious and modern flat in Ueno

Pros: Very spacious flat (for two), very good equipment. Close to Hibiya line via Iriya station. Lots of space, quite good if you have lots of luggage. Staff was reactive when I couldn't find how the water heating system was working. Shower is amazing and drying system is perfect if you have laundry to do.

Cons: Nothing, it was really good.

Great little studio apartment near Iriya station in a quiet area

Pros: Location was great. About 10 min walk to JR station and 5 min to subway station. Was very quiet, everything was brand new. Was able to check in before 4pm since no one was there the day before, I had bags I wanted to leave and they said I could just check in, so that was nice. I only stayed for one night as it was a last minute booking I needed quickly, but I would certainly stay again and for longer. Check in and check out were easy.

Spacious apartment in convenient location

Pros: We stayed in Tokyo for a week so was great to have the extra space and facilities vs a hotel. The bathroom having the clothes drying function was fantastic. The host was very helpful with any query I had.

Cons: I would suggest having a copy of the trash sorting rules in the house manual or on the wall in the kitchen; this wasn't something we were familiar with so thought we had done it correctly, then when I went to dispose of the trash and saw the rules I had to go through our rubbish to resort. Also found a past guest's dusty undergarment down the side of the washing machine, though most things were very clean.
