Pros: The apartment is spacious (especially for Japan). Sleeping is possible either on the bed or on futon mattresses in a separate room, which I found to be a nice Japanese touch. The apartment includes a kitchen with basic equipment for cooking. The location is great—close to the metro, but far enough from the nightlife to avoid tourist noise.

Cons: The fact that there was no elevator was a bit of an unpleasant surprise (maybe I should read the description more carefully next time). The stairs are quite steep, so be careful if you have a large suitcase. Additionally, the entrance door to the building was always open, which made my co-traveler slightly nervous.
