Suited my needs and was good for one person
Pros: I stayed here for 3 months due to a long-term work trip. The flat was very close to JR Nakano train station, which was very convenient for commuting and also for getting aorund generally. There was a good sized fridge/freezer, gas cooker, microwave and kettle, and the kitchen was stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs and glasses. There was a large space under the ladder to the loft which was perfect for storing my suitcase to keep it out of the way. The shower was very powerful and very clean, and came with shampoo, conditioner and body soap. All in all I enjoyed my stay, but it was definitely a room for one person.
Cons: The air conditioner did not reach the bed area in the loft, so it was boiling hot for most of my stay despite having the windows open. I did find a fan/circulator in a drawer downstairs, which helped a lot. The room was quite dusty when I arrived - especially on the lampshade and the top of the aircon unit. The aircon also smelt a bit musty, like it needed a clean. The lack of washing machine became a bit of a pain by the end of 3 months - there is a good coin laundry with washers and dryers less than a 5 minute walk away, but it would have been better to have one in the unit. There was a real lack of storage space in the room - nowhere to store your clothes other than a few hooks on the wall downstairs by the door.

Perfect for a solo traveller who doesn’t want to spend too much for a nice place in a great location.
Pros: It’s a 2 minute walk from Nakano station in a clean and quiet neighborhood, with easy access to the property. I always visit Nakano so this apartment was in a perfect location near plenty of local Izakayas and Nakano Broadway. All the utilities felt modern and well-kept. The room has extremely thick curtains that block out most light in the morning too, so it’s easy to get a good rest. Instructions on how to handle trash and enter the property were also made extremely clear and understandable through documents the host sent to me. It’s also relatively cheap during Golden Week compared to other places in Nakano at a similar quality.
Cons: The power points were in some inconvenient locations. This might not be the same for all rooms, but there were only two easily accessible power points, one where the microwave was plugged in and another near the floor at the front door. The third was high above the bed and basically useless without at least a 1.5 meter cord. There is also no bathroom sink to brush your teeth or shave, so you have to do that either in the shower or at the kitchen sink, which I found quite difficult as there was no mirror at the kitchen sink and there was a shelf at head-height which stored the cutlery, so I had to duck down over the sink the entire time. Other than some very minor things like that, it was close to perfect.

Pros: The girl who cleaned the apparent was very nice and helpful. The location was good, very close to nakano broadway. Nice small kitchen and shower.
Cons: Since the AC is mounted on the bottom floor, the loft gets quite hot and stuffy.
