The perfect homebase in Tokyo
Pros: We loved staying at Riverside Omori. For me, I liked the quiet and space that we got at this accommodation. For my two friends, as this was their first time in Japan, they also enjoyed being able to experience a bit of regular Japanese life by staying here. Shin and his Dad do such a good job. Loved it so much!

Loved it, only 10min walk to train station and good neighbourhood.
Pros: It was good. clean and had everything we needed even when we wanted to cook our own food.
Cons: Very tight space. The toilet you had to close door as you sit down so you could fit inside lol but overall we loved it, great experience staying local.

Excellent …. Will come back again.
Pros: Living with the locals. There is a kombini and supermarket approx 700meters away. Property was clean, there’s microwave, kettle, rice cooker , cooktop, washing machine , hair dryer, kitchen utensils, shampoo and conditioner , quiet neighbourhood. There’s a vending machine right in front of the property.
Cons: Quite far from tokyo but its ok, got to ride the monorail everyday and walk through the riverside.

Great location if you're looking for quiet and local
Pros: Although the location is far from most transit (at least 10 min walk and 25 minutes to station), it was an absolutely gorgeous quiet area with 2 amazing parks. Grocery stores and konbini within 5 mun walk. I went in the summer and it was beautiful. The rooms were a good size and I loved the hanging rack that was built in plus the windows opened. Had a washing machine and great shower amenities.
Cons: The kitchen is very bare minimum and the fridge extremely small for 2 people. Also the fridge and dryer is in one of the bedrooms not in the kitchen. Not a bad thing just an FYI. Also it's key entry only which for a 2 room made it a little hard to coordinate with other people. I wish it was a keypad lock instead.

Cons: Missing spoon. Missing pillow. Be good to have 2 pillows Electrical outlet needs to be changed to use the rice cooker.

Overall, a very good experience.
Pros: A few mins walk to train station. Near Lawson. Near a grocery shop (cheaper alternative). Has laundry machine, a separate dryer. Microwave, rice cooker, kettle, single electric stove available. Bowls, chopsticks, spoons, knife, cooking utensils available. You're situated in a residential area, so you get a feel of the neighborhood. 1 train and a few stops to Haneda airport (very convenient). There's a bridge to cross everytime you head to the train station. You can slow down and look at the river, the people fishing, scenery, etc. Vending machine in front of the house. Quiet. Always woke up well rested. There are 2 rooms, both with bunk beds (the one we had).
Cons: Not that we didn't like it, but thought it would be helpful to mention: stairs. Apartment is on the 2nd floor. Also, there's no elevator on the train station. May be a concern for those with kids/toddlers on prams.

Overall good stay, we enjoyed it and it was comfortable for 3 people. Hosts easy to communicate and easy to find locatio
Pros: Good location, close enough to monorail to connect to train stations.
Cons: Beds not so comfy for Australians but we embraced the culture, could have had a few extra blankets and pillows.
