SHINJUKU 5-ROOM Family house

Lovely 4 bedrooms house with easy access to subway, restaurants n minimarts!

Pros: The host was very responsive and helpful before and throughout our stay. The house is as described and really loved the comfortable beds and beddings! Good personal space with 4 bedrooms for our group of 6! Walking distance to both Nakai and Ochiai stations with easy access to restaurants and convenience shops. Lovely n peaceful neighbourhood. Will stay again when we are next back in Tokyo

Cons: Nothing much as the house is lovely and the host was great! The only thing to note is that staircase in the house is quite narrow (quite typical for most houses in Japan) so need to be careful esp if there are kids or seniors or big luggages. It was manageable for us as we left our luggages in the kitchen at ground floor and only bring what we need to the bedrooms upstairs.

Great house with easy access to the centre of Tokyo!

Pros: Great location. House had everything you could possibly need. Public onsen next door, great local restaurants and shops. A quiet residential area with easy access to subway/trains. Highly recommend this house. 😊

Pros: Akira’s house was spacious, spotless, and very well-maintained. 👍 With five rooms, it was wonderful that everyone in our group had their own comfortable space to relax. Akira was quick and kind in his responses, and the property was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The value for money was excellent, and overall, our stay far exceeded expectations. 😊

Excellent base for a short stay in Tokyo for a family group.

Pros: Location is in a nice residential area, but with shops and restaurants nearby. Only a short walk to the nearest station, and easy to get on to the train system for all of the points in the city. The house is well equipped with a full kitchen, several TVs and the use of a couple of bicycles. Our host was attentive, wanting to know if everything was OK, and left us with a range of guidebooks, and sent us a list of nearby shops and restaurants.

Cons: The size of the towels!!!…..plenty of them but a little small.

Pros: Great space and extremely well equipped. Close to three stations and really convenient. We had 10 people staying and the space worked well. Everything you could think of was provided.

Cons: Just a personal preference - towels are very small!

Pros: The house was in a quiet residential area with some shops and restaurants nearby. It was an 8-10 minute walk to two train stations which made it easy for us to go around. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked and the owners left us some crackers and treats to enjoy. They were also kind enough to offer us a late check out on our last day in Tokyo. Overall it was a pleasant stay for our family.

Cons: Although there were two toilets, there was only one shower room which big groups must take into consideration.

Pros: Plenty of beds Large functional kitchen,washing machine was a blessing. Close to supermarket & train station lovely quiet neighbourhood.
