Hotel Plus Hostel TOKYO AKIHABARA

Pros: I think it's already my 3rd time staying here. I love it's location. It's near to 2 subway line (JR line and Asakusa line) so travel is convenient. There also many convenience stores and restaurants and izakaya around the area

Pros: This property is quite close to Akihabara subway station, and only 1.2 km from the main alohabara electronic market. Plenty of restaurants one can find close to this hostel.

Cons: They do not normally allow to use the washroom if you reach early in the morning. The receptionist behaviour was odd, and I experienced that she did not want me to sit in the sitting area as I arrived quite early in the morning at 7am. This was the only time I have such experiance in my nearly one month stay in Japan. It maybe also a miscommunication which I could not follow.

If you’re looking for a place to tourist easily this is the place for you.

Pros: I liked that the location was close to a station which connects easily to the main points to visit in Tokyo.

Great Location!

Pros: Great location, quiet neighbourhood. Plenty of little restaurants & izakayas between the hotel & station. It's even walking distance to Akihabara.

Cons: The room is quite compact & not much room for luggage but it's to be expected. Our room is close to the laundry & spare toilet, so there's occasional sewer odour when you pass the common room where the laundry & toilet located.

Simple, functional and clean – everything you need for a quick stay.

Pros: Clean, minimalist design. Room had a great shower and comfortable bed. Early check-in was offered.

Cons: Elevator was slow, and breakfast menu was repetitive.

Great value for money hostel.

Pros: Great venue. Clean with friendly staff, and positioned perfectly next to Akihabara but without the chaos.

Perfect location to explore Tokyo!

Pros: Great location, close to the metro and to many bars and restaurants. Also perfectly located to reach the airport with just 1 metro line. Comfortable beds and clean room.

Cons: The double room was very small.

Easy and cosy

Pros: Hotel plus hostel in Akihabara is a good stay for people looking for a convenient place to crash that’s around Ueno/ Akihabara/ Ginza. If you’re lucky, the people who shares the same room with you might strike a conversation too, which is what I experienced. It was overall a pleasant experience for me, great location with good company.

Superb location, value for money

Pros: The location was amazing, convenient to walk to either Akihabara or Asakusa station and close to lots of restaurants. The dormitory is a little bit small for comfort, but generally the place is clean and has all the essentials you would need from a hostel or capsule hotel.

Cons: The rooms are a bit smaller than other hostels I've been to, so depends on who you share with nice if they are sloppy or loud, it may be too noisy or cramped. Would love more space for the luggage and ability to open the door once in a while

Pros: A cheap option, but a very enjoyable one. The room was small as expected, but it was definitely enough for a short stay.
