Solo traveller

Pros: Clean and easy acces, i was even able to drop my bags before the front counter officially opened Bed cover was super cozy

Cons: Matresses were a bit furm but that seems standard for japan

great place to stay

Pros: The service here is excellent—the staff are very nice, genuinely helpful, and very thoughtful about travelers’ needs. The location is also great, with lots of interesting places to explore in every direction. Many famous spots are within walking distance, which makes it a perfect base in Tokyo. I had a cozy and happy time in Japan this trip. Highly recommended!

Cons: It would be nice if the lobby downstairs had a bit more space for activities. I personally find Western-style chairs or stools more comfortable than traditional Japanese seating.

Pros: Convenient location, walkable from Tokyo Station or other closer ones. Lots of people hang out in the common space so often someone to chat to. Had laundry facilities too which was great if you’re running low, and detergent available from reception. You have the option to tumble dry (by the lifts 2nd floor) or air dry your clothes (on the roof).

Cons: People do come in at 3 am and bang about a bit getting ready. The rooms can be quite hot.

Pros: Spacious for a hostel, staff very nice, managed to get shower even if after the checkout, as just back from Fuji Day trip.

Very nice hostel in central Tokyo with free drink everyday

Pros: Nice hostel in a good location in Tokyo. Happy hour everyday (free drink!) which makes it easy to meet other travellers. The hostel is very clean, following Japanese standards. 24 hours access to laundry room, including dryer.

Cons: Other hostels in Japan provide more toiletries. But this is a very minor thing.
