Tokyo Central Youth Hostel

Situated right next to Iidabashi Subway Station, Central Youth Hostel is located on the 18th floor of Central Plaza. It is a 15-minute train ride from JR Shinjuku, Shibuya and Tokyo stations. Kagurazaka street, which offers a variety of restaurants, is a 5-minute walk away. The Imperial Palace is a 15-minute walk. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Coin-operated laundry facilities and drinks vending machines are on site. Between 23:00 and 06:00 it’s not allowed to enter or leave the hostel. Shared dormitory rooms and private rooms all have bunk beds and a seating area. Dorm bunks each have a curtain and a reading lamp. Toilets and bathrooms are shared, and towels and toiletries are available at extra charge. The Central Tokyo Youth Hostel provides breakfast at the dining room, at an additional fee.

A very convenient stay with a great view and a superb affordable price

Pros: I got everything I needed for the price! A Great night view from the high rise building was an extra delight.

Cons: The upper deck on the bunkbed was a bit difficult to handle. The metal ladder can be slippery if you are not fully awake in the middle of night… with this price I am not complaining

Overall great hostel in a great location and worth the money.

Pros: Spacious rooms, daily cleaning, great location and just on top of metro station. Restaurants and cafes all close by. Great amenities including kitchenette, toiletries, laundry, luggage storage. Loved my stay overall

Cons: Curfew time with shower rooms . 6am-9:30am and 4pm-12am were the bathing times. but i got used to it which was later ok.

Great family friendly quiet, welcoming hostel.

Pros: We had a fabulous stay here. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. We arrived early and left our luggage locked up for free until we came back at 3pm and settled into our family room. We had the best sleep on the firm mattresses and enjoyed the onsen in the morning The buffet breakfast was a bargain and delicious with western and Japanese options including fresh fruit and veges as well as hot scrambled eggs. The location is convenient above a metro and JR line with laneways and many good food options nearby. Thanks for a great stay,

Pros: It is a fantastic option for economic acomodation. Best neighbourhood in Tokio, above galleries, subway and JR. Amazing views! Thank you!

Pros: I loved how clean it was and the general friendly atmosphere of the hostel

Cons: I suggest that they put on the site that it is on Floor 18. It took a bit to find it.

Super convenient stay with a great view

Pros: Thank you so much for the great experience! It was conveniently located and the view from the 18th floor was magnificent! Staff were kind and efficient . Only drawback was the breakfast… 880 yen was super cheap but I would pay more for better food…
