GRAND HOSTEL LDK Tokyo Nishikasai -GRAND OPENING In May 2025-

Pros: Loved our stay- immaculate condition, very friendly staff, a free takoyaki food/social activity the night we were there and free gear storage during the day after we checked out. Highly recommend.

Cons: It’s very cold everywhere!

Pros: The lobby was really iconic. They have some sand inside that recreates being on a beach. A kitchen where you can cook which was also super nice. A lot of tables to either work , chill, play games or eat. They also had an event for new years countdown and some free soup that they traditionally eat. The staff was great and very friendly and welcoming. You can do everything automatically but its nice to have the option to talk to the staff aswell.

Cons: It was a bit far from the places I wanted to see but other than that I dont have a lot of complains. I didnt feel really comfortable leaving my luggage on the first floor with just one cable to secure them before checking in but nothing bad happened to them, Japan is a safe country anyways but I was a bit anxious.

Pros: The service was excellent and the organization impeccable. I lived there for 15 days and felt very welcome.

Comfortable, Cozy and Clean!

Pros: Very comfortable and also clean, also big enough for taller people. Staff is super friendly and they have many different events going on weekly. :)

Cons: The only thing is the location, though that it very openly communicated where the hostel is. Yet it is only max 10 minutes away from busses and a subway line, which is very good!

Pros: The place was spacious and clean with great amenities. The staff were friendly and helpful with everyone. The place has a supermarket right in front of it and many eatery nearby. The metro train station is also close by for about 5 minutes walk.

An exceptional time

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities. Warm atmosphere. The takoyaki party on Sunday was exceptional. 100% going back there. Just a short walk from the Nishi Kasai station so it has access to a lot of Tokyo via train and bus. Quiet area.
