Lovely and comfortable stay
Pros: The location of the property was excellent, it was just 700 meters away from the train station. The staff were super polite and all the amenities were great for a hostel. Unlike most places in Tokyo, the staff here was very understanding and gave me an early check-in 5 hours before the check-in time without any extra charges.

A cozy hostel
Pros: Everything, the bed was comfortable, the lockers were big for one medium suitcase and some other small bags, the kitchen was good and also the dining room, I stayed there every night to eat sine it was very cozy and peaceful. The location is in a residential area of Asakusa, 5 min on foot from the main shooping street. But you can reach also other places like Ueno park and the museum of Hokusai. My roommates were always respectful and quiet.
Cons: The showers were only on the first floor and the elevator was outside, so when I needed to wash myself I had to stay out in the cold for a bit to wait and take the elevator.

Pros: This is my second time staying here and it's a pleasant stay, as usual! I had always love how it has everything you need in a backpacker Hotel and how it's so close to everything, but also it's one of the rare hotels that provide you with free amenities instead of having to rent them during your stay. Thank you for hosting me!

Great place!
Pros: Super friendly staff! Very close to everything in Asakusa, but far enough from the crowds!
Cons: No vacuum in our floor. Would have liked to clean our room once in a while during our stay.

comfortable, and well-located hostel with very friendly staff and excellent facilities
Pros: Tora Hostel Asakusa has a great location, very close to Asakusa and the Ginza Line, which makes getting around Tokyo very easy. The staff were very kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The hostel has a well-equipped shared kitchen, which is great if you want to cook your own meals. There is also a washing machine and dryer available (for a fee: 200 yen for washing and 100 yen per 15 minutes of drying), which is very convenient for longer stays. The sleeping areas are very comfortable. The beds are soft and cozy, with good pillows, and they provide two towels per guest. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are also available, which is a very nice touch. The room spaces are comfortable, and the bathrooms are separated for men and women. Everything was always very clean, which I really appreciated. They also sell coffee and beers, which is a nice extra.
Cons: One downside is that the showers are located on the first floor, and to reach them you need to go outside, as the elevator that connects the different floors is accessed from outside the main hall. This can be inconvenient, especially in cold or rainy weather. Another issue was that some guests did not respect the quiet atmosphere in the sleeping areas, having conversations very late at night or very early in the morning. This is not the hostel’s fault, but rather the behavior of some guests. Overall, a comfortable, clean, and well-located hostel with very friendly staff.

Pros: The staff was good, the rooms were clean. We stayed for 6 nights and made our indian breakfast in the common kitchen area. Laundry service was helpful. They also had a collection of manga. Beds were cozy and comfortable. Good for a budget stay and sensoji was walking in distance. Two different stations were near.
