A great hotel in a great location for a great price

Pros: Clean, quiet, in a great location and for a very good price. Good facilities and friendly staff ๐Ÿ™‚

Cons: The communal bathroom was quite cold ๐Ÿฅถ But at least the toilet seats were the self-warming ones ๐Ÿ˜„

Comfortable stay

Pros: I like that it is close to the train and bus station.

Cons: None so far

Quiet, affordable, simple rooms near public transport.

Pros: Rapid check-in, staff speak excellent English. Typically for cheaper Japanese single rooms, these are very small and just serve as a place to sleep. As noted by others, on the way from the station you pass a Lawson and a 7-11 but if you continue about 100-150 m past the hotel you will find a large 'food-market' at the opposite of the road. Here you can find fresh fruit and vegetables (both expensive in Japan though) and other food stuff. This is a good alternative to the convenience stores with more extensive choices.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff and close to public transport.

Pros: Breakfast NA. Location is quite convenient. Joban Line only two stops to Nippori, three to Ueno, both major transport hubs. later in the day some trains continue on to Shinagawa. Note that Joban Line towards Nippori in the morning (6-9 am) is extremely crowded. Move to the back of the platform, usually slightly more room. In addition there is the Tsubasa Express to Asakusa and Akihabara as well as the Hibiya subway line. Staff speaks excellent English.

Affordable lodging for a short stay! Very friendly and welcoming host!

Pros: The host! Very friendly, very hospitable! They have laundromat in the hotel as well and the host allowed me to wait for my clothes to be done even after checking out, which is 10am. The host even offered umbrella when it was raining. I was able to check in earlier which was at 1230 noon. Nearby thereโ€™s Lawson and 7E. They also have a common dining space with microwave and hot and cold water dispenser. You can also borrow iron from them.

Cons: The sensor lights. Since the hotel is 15 minutes away from the train in a quiet neighbourhood, there are not many people. I feel scared ๐Ÿ˜‚ going to the toilet because it lights up on sensor. No people, no light, so itโ€™s dark. The facilities like the toilet is also on the older side so prepare weight wipe or portable bidet.

Calm, relaxed, well connected.

Pros: It was clean, easy to navigate, quiet at night and had great views from my room.

Cons: The shower not being a constant stream was a bit annoying at times, and sometimes there were far more people than the elevator could carry at once but thatโ€™s really about it
