Hotel East 21 Tokyo

Value for money stay. Convenient with bus stops and shuttle to Disney. Fabulous Staff!

Pros: The staff at the hotel was fabulous. They were friendly and very helpful. I like that the hotel has shuttle to Disneyland and the limousine bus stop is just right in front. The hotel was convenient with restaurants, supermarket just right beside.

Cons: Rooms were very clean but just a little bit dated. A little touch up will definitely refresh this hotel. Should provide free onsen to hotel guests, didn't understand why it was chargeable.

A wonderful stay, despite one flaw. Highly recommend.

Pros: There is so much that I liked about the property that it is hard to know where to start. The location was ideal for me, I have various disabilities and having a supermarket, 100 yen shop and pharmacy downstairs meant that everything I needed was just a short walk away. The decor is beautiful, soothing and stylish. The staff are helpful & polite & thorough. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable, I was worried about the mattress being too firm for me but I actually slept better in the hotel than I do at home.

Cons: The bathrooms do smell of sewers, however my stay was over 10 nights and iirc they didn’t always smell. Despite the sewer smell I would still stay here again. In fact I plan on doing so. That should tell you what a great hotel it is otherwise. I hope they will figure out how fix it, perhaps with some sort of filter or liquid in each drain but either way I will be back.

Disney's Good Neighbour Hotel

Pros: We like the comfort and cleanliness of the room and being a Disney's Good Neighbour Hotel, we get free shuttle transfer to Disneyland.

Cons: The hotel lobby looks a bit old but the rooms inside looks decent and acceptable.

Pros: The room had great views and was really nice and clean. My bug bare was they charged us for early check in. Our 14 hour flight landed at 10am the hotel wouldn't let us check in until 15:00 unless we paid. I get there is policies but we just wanted a shower and to freshen up.

Cons: Being charged for an early check in.

Pros: Huge rooms and very clean. Perfect for a family. We will return.

Cons: That the outdoor pool was closed. It should have been open in November as it's still quite warm. Alternatively kids should be allowed in the indoor pool.

2nd time here

Pros: Lovely hotel. 10 min walk to station. Room was spacious.

Cons: Not near to centre but easily accessible

Pros: The atmosphere was exceptional and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Cons: I liked everything about the property.

Excellent in every way

Pros: We had an amazing view from our hotel room! The room itself was very spacious, and extremely comfortable. It’s just a short walk to the subway station which is perfect. Loads of shops, supermarkets, and restaurants around. It even has a mall underneath the hotel! The staff are extremely friendly. We absolutely loved our stay here and I would stay here again should I ever be blessed enough to return Tokyo.

Omotenashi at its best

Pros: Once again this hotel provided truly excellent service reflecting omotenashi. Requested room with view of Tokyo Skytree and again provided. Immaculate cleaning/service by staff is at phenomenal standard. Simple request with laundry/ironing are promptly attended to. The staff are so kind and proactive, reflecting the grandeur and dignity of the hotel. Considering the size of the room and relatively proximity to Chuo Ward it's great value. Why stay at cramped business-hotels when you can stay here for less and way more comfort?

Cons: Plastic usage/provisions can be less. You don't need packaging for personal laundry etc.
