APA Hotel AkihabaraSuehirocho Ekimae -Electric Town-

Pros: Excellent location. Great room design. Perfect window view of the main Akihabara road.

Cons: Breakfast time was a bit early but thats normal in Japan.

Pros: Absolutely loved the location. It was perfect for my exploration of Akihabara even more. Gotta do the same next time. So much to see.

Cons: The bed’s matress was pretty used up. Very soft on one side and hard on the other. Sad to say that I didnt sleep well a new matress would be good. Could feel the bedframe throught the matress.

Pros: Its the perfect place to stay if your a big anime fan as your right on the doorstep of one the capital for anime

Pros: Clean rooms, smooth digital check-in/out, and convenient QR code luggage storage. Excellent location near Akihabara and Suehirocho stations. Ideal for business trips.

While the location is excellent, the significant rise in cost makes it hard to recommend.

Pros: The location was ideal for accessing any of the train lines. You may need to walk a bit for some lines, but it was well worth it to avoid transferring in Shinjuku during rush hour.

Cons: The hotel now hosts a lot of overseas guests, which isn’t a problem, but I found some to be rude and unable to understand the concept of waiting their turn for the elevator in the lobby. I also dislike their automated self-check-in system, which is too difficult to figure out due to the poor English instructions. The front desk staff usually end up helping you or manually checking you in.

Ideal location for exciting Akihabara and other Tokyo transport links

Pros: Perfect location for Akihabara and its fascinating, lively, buzzing streets; 20 minutes walk will also take you to Ueno, Kanda and Jumbicho; 5 minutes walk will take you to local train station or metro that can quickly link you with anywhere in Tokyo. The airport bus also picks up nearby, and we used this for our return. We booked two doubles and 2 singles and rooms were spotless, well provided for, and spacious enough (helped by having plenty of space under the bed). Free luggage storage both on arrival and departure was very helpful to our group. Views from the 14th floor were stunning.

Cons: As mentioned by others, the room was at times too hot, and with limited control by ourselves as heating was centrally controlled by management. The November weather outside was mild and warm.

Pros: Perfect location - close to metros & right in the middle of Akihabara. Staff were lovely and super helpful, we were able to leave bags pre check in and also after check out.

Cons: They kept leaving new towels everyday when it wasn't needed.

Decent hotel even for longer stay

Pros: Yet another comact APA. Superior twin room was really spacious. Location is great for Akihabara.

Pros: Very polite staff, central location in Akihabara. Rooms small but very comfortable, got everything what you need.
