Pros: Nice place, easy to find, comfy beds and cheap in Tokyo

Worth every penny!

Pros: This place is very near to the metro station, so it was very convenient to get by to other attractions. It is also veryy nearby 7/11, Lawson and other convenience stores so transporting luggage for the Yamato service at those convenience stores was a breeze. The staffs were very friendly, helpful and speak good English so communication was never an issue. The room was thoroughly clean and exactly as what was advertised. Although the toilets were shared among other guests, the toilets were cleaned everyday so our 3 nights stay was very comfortable. This place also provides a washing machine and dryer for the guests to use, but there's also a laundry coin place nearby if the washing machine/dryer is occupied (but a tad bit expensive compared to the rate this Hostel charge). I also liked that there was a lounge area with complete kitchen area and comic collection for guests to eat and laze around. Overall, I would definitely return to stay here.

Pros: Staffs are friendly and attentive to customers especially Mr.Ado. this hostel provides washing machine and dryer ( both need coins ). There are mangas to read but all in japanese. Bonus: near to market, mcdonalds and convinient stores like Lawson, Family mart.......

Pros: The staff was extraordinary and friendly. And the area’s were clean and no disturbances.

Cons: As with any hostel you can hear other people moving about, but the noise was minimal.

A very nice stay!

Pros: We had a very comfortable stay here, we had everything we needed and the staff were super helpful. The location is a little out of the way but not too bad as it’s about a 10 minute walk to the metro station where the links are pretty good.

Cons: Not too much around the hostel but there is a Lawson and a metro about a 10 minute walk.

Very affordable hostel with nearby conbinis and metro

Pros: Very affordable and cleanly hostel. Minowa is a bit off center so you have to add a bit off time with public transport to get to the classic attractions but one the other side it is half the price of Shinjuku. Staff was friendly and helpful. Decent common area and close to multiple conbinis and the metro.

Cons: Rooms are tiny - on the other hand thats pretty common in Tokyo and Japan in general and nothing particular about this hostel

Great value!

Pros: The location was great - around 5-10 mins walk to Minowa subway station reaching big touristy locations like Ginza, Ueno, Akihabara etc, and good connection to other subways. Right outside the hotel was also a Lawson to grab breakfast and coffee. The rooms were good sized for the money we paid for 5 nights. It was a super calm and quiet street, I couldn't believe we were in bustling Tokyo!

Cons: The first room we got, had a small window that couldn't be opened, and for two people sleeping, it could get a bit stuffy. But I paid for an upgrade to get a room with a bigger window that could be opened, so the stay was perfect after the upgrade!
