Lodging Tokyo Shibamata

Pros: Very good price, 1 minute walk from train station, close to restaurants and convenience stores.

Small but clean and convenient

Pros: Extremely close to Shibamata Station. With a 24 hr Lawson 100 beside it. Having your own bathroom at this price range is amazing. Cleanliness is good.

Cons: Too small to keep luggage in the same room. Barely big enough to lay down for 2 people.

Good location, basic facilities.

Pros: It's exceptionally close to the train station, which gave me great convenience.

Cons: There was no iconic Japanese electric toilet offered in the room.

Great things come in tiny packages.

Pros: Less than a minute from metro station. Quiet neighborhood, not crowded or touristy. There is a beautiful temple 5 minutes away, a park and a tea house (see pics). Everything was very clean and neat and organised. Theres a convenience store in every direction. Great value. Matched the description and the photos provided.

Cons: For us westerners, everything was tiny. Room, sink, bath, common area, table. We managed, but it takes some getting used to, so if you're looking for something spacious this isn't the place for you. In the outskirts of Tokyo. Easy enough to get to the center via public transport, just take into consideration that there's not a whole lot to do in the area itself, it's mostly quiet after 8 pm.

The hostel is suitable for low budget person, and also nearby with restaurant and convenient mart.

Pros: I like the facility provided by hostel, cleanliness, and itbis near from the train station which is good for the travellers.

Cons: Overall quite good but the pillow is quite thin😅.

Japanese style rooms (small but nice)

Pros: Very affordable Japanese style accommodation (small) but enough to go to sleep, use a nice tiny bathroom and shower. I would say it’s good for fit/young travellers.

Cheap stay in a nice part of Tokyo

Pros: The stay was overall quite good. The hotel is located in a nice, quiet area, which I really appreciated. Check-in and check-out were super easy and straightforward. There were various amenities available downstairs, which added to the convenience. The room was very small, and the futons were a bit thin, but it was still a comfortable enough stay. Nothing fancy, but definitely okay!

Affordable place, comfortable stay.

Pros: The room is just nice for a couple to rest for the day after exploring around. Private bathroom, and affordable. Location that is 30 mins away from central Tokyo, making it feel like you're coming home instead of a place to stay. It's also right beside Lawson, which is a huge plus if you need late night snacks or something.

Cons: Nothing really, it was all good.

Great location. Shibimata is an interesting area with lots of character,plenty of funky little bars

Pros: WE didn't have any breakfast. We didn't know it was offered. The free tea was nice but the free instant coffee was 'weird'.

Cons: Could not open the window to get some fresh air.

Pros: Self check in, common laundry included, roomy space with bathroom with shower, TV, air conditioning, fridge and a small table to have breakfast.
