灯光旅館 Light hotel

Pros: The location is only 3 minutes from the train station, and there are many fast-food restaurants and local restaurants nearby. The room is quite spacious, the shower water is nice and hot, the staff are very helpful, love the place, will definitely visit again!

Cons: Climbing stairs up to the top floor while carrying luggage could be a nightmare.

Pros: I loved this little hotel, excellent money value! It's located in Aoto, super close to a train station. The neighborhood it's quiet and lovely, 40 min away from central Tokyo. I'll definitely stay here again!

Pros: the location near to Aoto station, only 5 minutes walking distance.

Cons: no lift, difficult for us to take our luggage to 3rd floor but the staff helping us

Next to station and 7/11, clean and comfy

Pros: We liked the proximity of the station and 7/11 just few steps away. Even though the station is very close you do not hear the train. It was very clean, easy check-in&out.

Cons: We slept in room on the 1st floor which had 3 futons. There is basically no room for laguage and the stroller that we had. It was a bit hard to navigate since there was 1 square meter in total where you could stand. Aircon right above head, I personally dont like aircon above pillow, but somobody else probabbly wont mind.

Pros: The location of this place is Amazing!! There is a supermarket just outside the station, which is like 3 min away and a 7/11 basically outside. The beds were super comfortable and the room/bathroom were spotless. I would definitely stay again. They offer luggage storage by the stairs with locks, which is very helpful.

Cons: The room becomes a bit small when they set up the 3 futtons (2 singles and 1 double) and there was not much space to store our lugagge.. we were 4 people and that was a downside, but still a great place.

Pros: Room was clean and enough for a short stay of four person family. There is a parking lot next to hotel.

Fabulous find, I highly recommend

Pros: I love this little hotel. It's simple, relaxing & situated in a nice quiet suburb in Tokyo. The futons are so comfortable & it feels much more authentic than any of the other Tokyo hotels I've stayed in. Literally 5 minutes walk from Aoto station & you can get to anywhere in Tokyo. If you want to stay in a Holiday Inn which looks like every other destination on earth, do not stay here. If you want to feel like you're staying in Japan, this is the place for you 😊

Awesome Aoto loved it

Pros: Aoto is in a lovely quiet part of Tokyo just a few steps from the station.. so easily accessible to everywhere (including a direct train to Narita). We loved the vibe and decor. Great beds my sons loved them . Onsite washer/drier a great help. Easy pin access and area to lock up bags temporarily. Area felt really safe…I had a wander through cute little streets to the ‘Thai massage’ (as opposed to the ‘’Lana Thai) ..sooo good and affordable)

A good hotel that is a few details away from being great.

Pros: The check-in process was very easy and the futon mattresses were very comfortable. We both slept very well. The bathroom is roomier than most small Japanese hotel rooms. The hotel is a 4-minute walk from Aoto station, and the neighborhood around the station is fantastic, with plenty of small shops and restaurants for whatever you need.

Cons: Though a small room is expected in Tokyo, I found that our room didn't utilize the space very well. For instance, the mini-fridge is on the floor and the door opens towards the wall it's up against, not the room. And since there is not very much room, we put our suitcase in front of the fridge and had to move it each time we opening the fridge door. Putting the fridge on a small nightstand would solve this problem. Also, there are only 2 baggage locks, which led to some anxiety about making sure we could store our luggage after check out as planned.

Pros: Great location by the train station and with a nice river walk and Mt Fuji view nearby.
