Very pleasant hotel, I recommend!

Pros: -the hotel is located just outside Komagome station, which is very convenient after a long day's walking -convenient for reaching both Shinjuku and Tokyo stations -rather spacious room and pleasant bathroom -clean and comfortable -breakfast is a plus

Cons: Little choice for breakfast (all egg-based formulas), a little redundant after a few days so we went outside !

I give 5 stars, especially for those who appreciate hotel proximity to a train station.

Pros: The fact that the location of the hotel is a mere minute walk from the JR Komagome station was such a relief, especially after a day long walk! Denny's breakfast is a choice between continental & Japanese.... just perfect!

Cons: Everything was excellent... Checkin was a breeze, and checkout just took a minute! There was one small concern which I should have considered. Not the fault of the hotel though. We stayed 4 nights. Then we spent a night in Nikko. We chose to return to JR Komagome Mets Hotel for another 3 nights. But I should have requested the same room, or at least a room which had the same bed orientation as our first 4 nights. I surmised that even number rooms would have the same bed orientation, as odd numbered rooms would have also.
