Mi-Kan Design Hotel

Pros: That it was spacious and very nice design Comfortable beds and the bath tub a wonderful feature!

Pros: Unique we love everything. Location close to station and mart at the bottom. The room size huge.

Looks great but lacks in many areas.

Pros: Heating worked well in the main bed area however given is winter didn't flow to the lower tatami area. Bed was comfy and shower was awesome. Location to train was pretty good - building very narrow and easy to miss so do check out google streetmap for a visual. Okay stay for 2 nights as a base but nothing more.

Cons: Room provided a microwave however there was 1 fork in a draw. No glasses/cups or wine glasses. 1 tiny folding stool. there was nowhere to sit or eat other than sitting in or on a bed. Lighting whilst very pretty and fashionable was very dim. Pin number provided by email when the traveller registration was completed - the mail box to collect key was very tricky to open and instructions were only in Japanese. Bath looks fab but having to put the plastic inner liner into the bath and effectively sit in a bag wasn't really my idea of relaxing. Unfortunately, I don't think that a family would be overly comfortable here unless kitchen and seating updated. They also emailed a couple of days later waning to charge an extra 'sewerage fee'. No idea what this was for but we certainly didn't break or damage or block a toilet - I've read other reviews that state the same happened to them too.

Great location

Pros: Great location, clean and tidy with lots of space for our family compared to kost Japanese hotels.

Really enjoyed our stay, clean and great location.

Pros: Size, bath, location, cleanliness. Cleaning everyday and fresh towels were great!

Cons: Beds and pillows could be a little softer but overall a fantastic stay. Would stay again.

Pros: Fantastic position. Excellent local restaurants nearby. Mi-Kan was clean and had everything that you needed.

Great stylish place to stay. Close to subway and amenities

Pros: Nice design, easy to get to from the subway. Big tub was great!

Cons: No plates despite having microwave and kettle. Also kitchen sink or washing up implement. Would have loved some wall hooks close to door for wet coats, but there were plenty of hangers in the wardrobe. Was a little chilly, but we were not in for most of the day.

Clean, unique and great location.

Pros: Clean and great views from the bathroom. Close to Asakusa and subway but not too busy.

Lovely spacious hotel-like space in Tokyo!

Pros: Lovely space close to the subway. Loved the bath tub. Very spacious for a Tokyo accommodation. A short walk to Sumida River and plenty of shops and dining places. Loved that housekeeping comes in to tidy and refresh towels daily! Nice touch!

Cons: Although the ambience lighting is great, it would be nice to have some brighter lights for day as there was not much natural light coming in.
