Pros: Close to the station and quiet. Higher floor with good vieW. Real receptionist is good.

Cons: The robot kind of scared my friend and after that she felt ill. I feel OK. The table of my room is tilted, so we can hardly put things on.

Good for a quick stay around Akihabara.

Pros: Great location right near Akihabara. The room itself was standard Japanese hotel size, but one thing we had in the room which was excellent was a deorodiser for removing smells from clothes, which was easy to use. Also very close to publix transport.

Cons: Nothing, though because of the room size I'd only stay for a short while.

Good, but should have been excellent …

Pros: Location was very good, with lots of excellent small eating places nearby. Walking distance to a few train stations and the Sumo stadium was close. Perfectly functional and clean room, serviced daily.

Cons: Check-in takes just 30 seconds, so why bombard me with endless emails in poor, muddled English, asking me to ‘pre-check-in’? Why ask me to hand over credit card details when I’d already paid in full, without explaining clearly the total you wanted and why (it was accommodation tax)? Why ask me to use an AirBnB message forum to contact you with queries, when I booked with Booking.com? Clearly, no one has thought this through, or checked the English properly. The room was very hot, and the air con poor, so I had to sleep with the window open. The TV only had 10 or so Japanese channels, no English. Safety box wasn’t working, although it got sorted after I reported it. Expensive buffet breakfast, but I just had coffee and a toasted sandwich for a quarter the cost from Cafe Veloce, which was just outside to the right.

Pros: They have many storage spaces where you can set the locks on your own but might be full on some days and require the staff’s assistance. The staff are pretty helpful and nice too.
