Tabiya Shinamachi - New built APT at Ikebukuro

Absolutely loved it, would recommend and would book again for future stays.

Pros: The location was near the yamanote line (ikebukuro), many bus stops near by, convenience stores near by and not in a crowded spot. 7/11 and Lawson are like 3-5mins walk. Fee restaurants in walking distance too. Ikebukuro is only 20mins bus ride away. Following Shinjuku and shibuya with slightly extending time period. The cleanliness of the apartment and no contact supply was very nice. The property is quite spacious compared to other accommodations in the area. The washing machine and iron supplied and other appliances were extremely convenient.

Cons: The only issue was the absence of lift as the property is 4 floors high and we stayed at the 4th floor. We struggled to carry our suitcases up and down. Additionally it would have been nice if we could send our luggages to property before hand as our next accommodation was able to store and place it in our rooms for us prior to our arrival. Otherwise, a great experience.

Pros: The room was very spacious, and the beds were nice and cozy. Train station was super close and only a 2min walk.

Cons: Pillows were too hard

Nice and clean and the location is convenient.

Pros: Big space and the kitchen is well equipped and there is also a washing/ drying machine. The room is nice and clean.

Cons: There is no elevator. A little bit inconvenient for people with heavy luggage.

Pros: This stay was perfect! Clean, comfortable and enough room to move around. Train station only a 5min walk from room and 1 stop from Ikiburero station.

Cons: The pillows were very hard , i ended up going to buy myself a different pillow because my neck was hurting the next day.

Pros: Clever design with clever storage for a small apartment. Good security too.

Pros: I stayed here for 7 nights as a couple. It was quite spacious for Tokyo standards, and equipped with all the facilities we needed (kitchen, washing machine, hair dryer, iron). The place was also very beautiful and minimalist.

Pros: The location is great! only a 5-minute walk from the nearest station, and just a couple of minutes from a 7-Eleven, Lawson, a pharmacy, and the best noodles we had in Japan (at the North Exit of Shiinamachi Station). It’s a quiet neighbourhood, which was perfect for us, and only one stop away from busy Tokyo. The beds were very comfortable, and it was the best stay we had in Japan (we travelled for 35 days, so trust me). The washer and dryer were also very useful.

Cons: It’s not as busy as central Tokyo or Shinjuku, where you have tons of restaurant options, but you’re still pretty close to everything. Depending on your travel style, it can feel a little boring. Keep in mind that you can only access the apartment by stairs, so with heavy luggage it can be a bit inconvenient. The kitchen is quite small—if you’re planning to cook, this might not be the best option. But you’re in Japan, so there are plenty of ready-made meals, and you’ll probably won’t even miss cooking.

Pros: Lovely property, as well as the neighborhood! Enough space for large luggages. Easy check-in, check-out. We will be staying here again when back in Tokyo!

Lovely cosy little apartment with all the facilities we needed for a short stay.

Pros: It was comfortable and clean, and in a quiet location.

Cons: Getting into the property even with the details provided prior to arrival proved to be a bit tricky, luckily a couple from another apartment helped us as they experienced similar problems earlier on that day.
