Feel great.

Pros: No matter you want to live an old life or you want to find a place which is kindly for shopping schedule. This is a very good place for you.

Cons: Because we didn’t get use to this building. It’s easy to kick the corner and feel painful.

A beautiful restoration of a Meiji era shop with wonderful hosts

Pros: Ebihara is a lovingly restored early Meiji era building, run by caring and warm hosts. We appreciated the welcoming touches such as the origami cranes and good communication throughout our stay. We particularly appreciated that the restoration of Ebihara was sympathetic to the original building fabric, with a clear distinction between new and old - allowing the original use and character of Ebihara to be valued and appreciated. The kitchen is lovely and the bath a highlight. With heating and cooling throughout, it is a very comfortable home. The location is also very convenient as a home base to explore Tokyo and surrounds. Overall a great place and with excellent hosts.

History surrounded by neon lights

Pros: This place feels truly Japanese. I stayed here with my husband and two sons and we had plenty of room. The air con was very welcomed. The best part is crossing the river into the mania of Akhiabara - it's hard to believe that's so close when you have this little oasis to come back to. The boys loved the steep stairs and we loved it being steeped in history. It feels like you found a hidden gem. I highly recommend this unique place in Akhiabara.

Cons: We loved everything.

Maison équipée et authentique, au propriaitaire très avenant

Pros: - Maison authentique avec une histoire qui lui ai propre - Une proximité avec les transports pour se rendre dans tout Tokyo très facilement - Une gentillesse et une disponibilité du propriaitaire qui se montre attentif avec les occupants de la maison - Des équipements fonctionnels (Machine à laver, Four/Micro ondes, vaisselle, casseroles) - De nombreux magasins autours de l’habitation - Des toilettes TOTO !

Cons: - Maison assez mal isolé sur l’aspect phonique - Rideau peu couvrant pour la lumière - Présence de nombreux rats dans le quartier (je soupçonne qu’ils aient élu domicile dans les sous sols) mais rien dans les pièces de vies pas d’inquiétude
