Shinjuku 'Deep Lane' Villa

Pros: Very good contact with our host. Very good location.

A good family, value for money Tokyo option….amongst lots of options!!

Pros: We stayed here as a family of 5; 3 very tall teenagers and this place was good for us. Great to have amenities and spaces for us all after long days exploring. Kids slept upstairs on western beds, adults on tatami downstairs. We needed google translate to work out the washing machine but it was pretty straightforward. We hung clothes on a clothes rack upstairs. Everything dried in a day. Bathroom was efficient & compact. Kitchen has kettle & utensils but we didn’t use these as we ate out. Local restaurants along the river looked great. It’s 30mins walking/metro to the action of Shinjuku, Shibuya. The neighbourhood is very quiet.

Cons: We are travelling around Japan, skiing & sightseeing in multiple cities so on the move with soft packs for easier travel & commutes. This place was a pretty hard commute from Narita airport after a long flight with 3 train changes, and a 10 minute walk. Once we arrived, it was great - we were able to freshen up and head out to explore.

Pros: Separate bedrooms, convenient location between two stations

Cons: Two of the mattresses were uneven. A bit tricky to find. Host said to use Google Maps but it directed us to the wrong house around the corner.

Pros: Lots of space to store things out of the way. It was in a nice quiet neighbourhood and was very clean and modern.

Cons: Front door is a little tricky to use but you figure it out eventually

Pros: Perfect if you need 2 or 3 bedrooms. Well located at 7mins of Ochiai and Nakai stations.

Cons: We would need more things at the kitchen as small knifes, small cooking pots and frying pans and more cookware. There is no common place in the house if you use 3 bedrooms the only shared space is the kitchen and there you don't have table or chairs to have dinner together.

小さい子連れで気兼ねなく泊まれるお宿。

Pros: 小さい子連れだったが、ホテルよりも気兼ねなく過ごせ、家のように気が楽だった。 全体的にシンプルで過ごしやすかった。

Cons: カトラリー系が引き出し内に収納してあり、元々出ていたカトラリー以外にも使っていいのかわからなかったので、表記があれば良かったかもしれない。シンクにスポンジがあったが、それがシンク用なのか、カトラリーを洗っていいものなのかわからなかったのでそれも表記があればよかった。 洗濯バサミがあれば助かった。 セキュリティの問題で外には干したくないので、洗濯物干し竿が室内のどこかにあればありがたかった。 全体的にシンプルで過ごしやすかった。
